Sharlyn leaned against the car & watched as Newt pushed up his glasses again. She started to sigh, but stopped.
"I know..."
She reached in her purse & pulled out a contact lens container. She took her contacts out & put them back in her purse. She searched around in the purse once more & took out a pair of wire-frame glasses.
Grinning, she put them on.
"There. Now I won't be able to complain about you anymore."
Sharlyn smiled & looked around. Something was coming up the road & was causing a cloud of dust. She nudged Newt & pointed at it.
"What do you think it is?"
Newt shrugged. Sharlyn began walking towards the dust cloud. Her curiosity was getting the best of her.
