[MD 2, 9:30am, The Hough's place]

As they got to the end of the drive, the cloud of dust turned into a police car. The round-faced, balding man who called himself 'Sheriff Bob' waved at them as he pulled to a stop in front of them.

"Thought you all might still be here," he called from the window.

Newt nodded, "Yes, Agents Woods and Weill are still talking to the Houghs."

"Well, we just got word of another disappearance. This one won't stay quiet long."

"Who?" Newt asked.

Sheriff Bob turned the squad car off. "The Five-year old son of the World's End's biggest benefactor, Sterling Richardson. They have a large Cabin in the park and they came to spend a short vacation here. Mrs. Richardson reports putting their son, Logan, to bed around 10pm last night. This morning, when the child hadn't gotten up, she went in and found him missing."

"Kidnapping?" Sharlyn asked pushing up her glasses.

Newt nearly grinned as he did the same, but he held it in check focussing on the disturbing news of a missing child.

"There were no signs of forced entry .. no note .. nothing."

"Could the child have wondered off on his own?" Newt asked.

"The parents say 'no'. But it's a possibility we're checking out." He shrugged, "As well as still searching for signs of kidnapping."

"Can we do our own investigation without hindering yours?" Sharlyn asked.

"Well, it's nice of you to ask .." he said with a frown, "But we really don't have a choice. Richardson asked for you."

"For us?" Newt asked.

The sheriff nodded, "Seems he's heard 'Team Delta' was in town. And he wants to see you as soon as possible."

Newt and Sharlyn looked at each other briefly before turning to the Sheriff and nodding. "We'll gather up Woods and Weill and meet him at his cabin as soon as we can then."
