[6:00 P.M. Cabins]

As they walked back to the cars, the group was shaken by the events that had unfolded, but September could tell that this was an extremely professional group. They had been through similar situations before and this was just another one to add to the books.

[September came up next to her. "Everything all right?" "Fine," Kate said. She folded the note and tucked it in her pocket. "Let's get going."]

[6:45 Dinner at Cafe]

Delta Team took off and went to the local cafe. After all of the running around and the near death experience, they were famished. There were a few locals in the cafe when they arrived; the locals murmured to themselves, but didn't approach the agents. While eating their meal, a fire truck raced by in the direction of the park.

"It sure took them long enough. I mean it is a park, if they "think" they smell smoke, they should be sending a crew down to check it out", Newt said.

"Come to think of it, we've been here for what . . . 20, 25 minutes and no one has even come up to us, they keep staring, but that's all they do. I mean look at us. They've got to know what happened, or at least suspect something. I think we better find out what's going on here and get out of this town quickly. " September said as she shoved a french fry into her mouth.

"I know what you mean, I've had the creeps ever since I got here." Sharlyn said.

Kate remained quiet.

Delta Team finished their meal and left; still no one approached them, only the waitress who served them. She handed them their bill, never mentioning a word about the fire.

[7:50 Cabins]

[As soon as they got back from dinner, Kate told the others she was going for a jog and slipped out of the cabins.]

The team members went back to their respective cabins for a much needed shower and a change of clothing.

"Kate, you sure you're ok?" September asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"I don't know, you seem preoccupied about something."

"I just need some time to think things out. Don't use all of the hot water."

September watched as Kate walked out the door. She knew Kate for less than 24 hours, but she was good at reading people, and she knew something just wasn't right. After a shower, September picked up her cell phone and called her husband. Even though she loved her career, she missed spending time with him. He answered the phone was a soft 'Hello" and she felt safe.
