"Good idea." Flynn said, patting his stomach. "I could go for a good snack right now. Sharlyn?"
Sharlyn's mind was processing the information that September had found, but suddenly the map of the greater Miami area had caught her mind and didn't want to let go for some reason. They had found out who was probably behind this whole sick scheme, but still no closer to who was carrying out the deed. She
got up and went over to the map, where thumbtacks were pinned in to where all of the previous rapes occured. It just so happened to all fall within the same region, not one of them occured out of the greater Miami area.
"Sharlyn? What's up?" Kate asked as the group joined her by the board.
"The packet that Docker handed to you, what did it contain?" Sharlyn asked.
Kate thought back and said, "Nothing that could really help us. Just some background info on the other 3 participants, all doctors and the incidents of rape that each was associated with."
"All doctors." Sharlyn whispered to herself.
"Except for Paul, who joined law enforcement." Flynn said. "You think that the 5th person might either be a doctor or...."
"A police officer." September added, "what better way to escape detection than to be assigned the job of looking for yourself."
"Search the databases for all complaints logged by the victims." Kate said to the group. "We're looking for anything that they may have called for, B & E, stalking, or a cat stuck in a tree. Let's see if we can come up with a name connected to each. The next victim doesn't have too much time left."
Flynn sighed. "I guess the snack's gonna have to wait then, huh?"
