>> [Foster,] September's voice came over the line.

"It's Kate. Where are you now?"

[Following Narrin. He seems to be driving around aimlessly. Something wrong.]

"Not yet. We have reason to believe that he's head to 52 Escondido Drive. If you find yourselves in that neighborhood, call me back. Sharlyn and Docker will be meeting you there."

[Docker?] September asked, taken aback.

"Docker?" Newt exclaimed.

Kate sighed. The whole idea was distasteful to her, but what could she do about it? "You heard me," she said.

[Okay. I'll let you know,] September said. <<

"That was Kate. Narrin is headed for 52 Escondido Drive. Docker and Sharlyn are meeting us there."

"Docker?", Flynn asked surprised to hear Docker's name.

"That's what she said."

September explained the details about the operation to Flynn while he increased the space between Narrin's car and their car. When they got to Escondido Drive, Narrin parked under a tree about 500 feet from Tommi Casale's home. He casually strutted up to the front door and walked inside. Flynn parked the car behind Newt and flashed his fog lights at him, signalling there presence.

"I'm going inside," September said taking a deep breath.

"I'll cover the front," Flynn said waiting for September to get into position.

September pulled out her gun, took another deep breath and ran up to the windows around the side of the house. Surprisingly, the windows were open. September climbed inside, gun still drawn and crouched down behind a chair. She made her way to one of the front rooms and out of the corner of her eye, she could see the figure of a man straddling something or someone on the floor. She also could hear muffled sounds coming from the same room.

Kate must have kicked him hard because she audibly heard, "Back off Narrin!"

September started approaching carefully while announcing her presence.

"Kate, it's September. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine". Without warning, Narrin struck Kate who landed with a thud on the floor. Still awake, but whoozy, Kate tried to stand and was broadsided again by Narrin.

"Freeze!"

Narrin looked at September, then ran to the back of the house, with September in pursuit. Narrin ran out the back door. She could hear the front door opening and assumed Newt and Flynn had heard the noise and were on there way inside. September got to the bottom of the steps and was broadsided, knocking her gun out of her hand. Her training at Quantico kicked in and September proceeded to kick, punch, and do whatever it took to get away from her assailant. Narrin was strong and he reached up and hit September square in the jaw, knocking her to the ground. Narrin moved like an animal, swift and precise. He pounced on September and began ripping away at her clothes and straddled her with his body.

"You'll have to do", Narrin said with a wicked grin spreading across his face.

Frantically, September tried to find her gun with her one arm that wasn't being held down by Narrin's hand. She saw it out of the corner of her eye. September knew she had to move fast. She let out a scream, momentarily startling Narrin, reached up and finally found her gun, aiming it directly at Narrin.

"You've already given me a reason", she managed to stammer out. "Don't make me . . ."

Narrin laughed and September pulled the trigger hitting Narrin in the left shoulder. Narrin fell back on the ground. September stood over him. She couldn't believe how fast the situation had turned and Narrin had been in control. Reality then set it and she remembered that an agent only fires their weapon as a last resource. She checked Narrin, then handcuffed him. She would have to explain her actions.

"GET UP!", September yelled at Narrin.

September stood in the backyard with her shirt torn open. Her jaw was beginning to swell. She could feel the cold against her skin. She was aware of her shallow breathing, unable to get enough air into her lungs and she could hear the faint barking of dogs in the neighborhood, then she heard footsteps. Coming down the backsteps was Flynn, Newt and Kate.

"September, what happened?", Kate asked before she got a really good look at September.

"He attacked me. I had no other choice . . .", September said, her voice trailing off.

"We'll talk about it later. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. He's alive, probably just a flesh wound", September said glaring at Narrin, who wouldn't break her stare.

"You sure you okay?", Newt asked September, who was still shaken up.

"Yeah . . . whatever happened to Sharlyn and Docker? Weren't they supposed to meet us here?"

Before Kate could answer, her cell phone rang.

"Calloway."

"Agent Calloway, this is Nurse Phillips again. I really think you should get over here as soon as possible."

"I'm on my way", Kate said and put her cell phone away. "That was the hospital, Sharlyn's been injured. It looks bad.", Kate said solmenly.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go", Flynn replied.

"I guess we'll take him along with us", Kate said pointing at Narrin, "he needs medical treatement anyway. Newt you and Flynn meet us at the hospital. Call the station and have them arrange for a detective to meet you there. We'll handle the paperwork later. We'll meet you in ICU."
