The agents stepped out into the corridor. The technicians were busy gathering evidence. The two bodies were just being carried away. Cody pointed to their body armor.

"Kevlar," he said, more to him self than to the others. If they confronted more of these they would definitely need some heavy duty ammo.

He turned and went back into the office. Toussaint was talking to Agent Anders.

"Umm... 'Scuse me, Agent Toussaint, but I need a few words."

"Sure," she said. "Shoot."

He gave Anders a worried look before he started talking.

"I need to requisition some stuff. Mostly weapons and ammo."

Toussaint took out a pencil and a pad.

"Like what?"

"Firstly, I need some special ammo. Well, it's all special ammo, but first off, I need some nine millimeter ammo with a reduced powderload. For shooting inside of planes. The normal ammo is too powerful for that, and a bullet will pass through the fuselage, and then all hell breaks loose."

He stopped for a second to make sure Agent Toussaint had gotten that.

"Second, I need some .357 Magnum, teflon-covered bullets with a uranium core. That one has an extra powerful powder-load, and will pass through armor like butter. Actually, I would prefer it if everybody had that, but the .357 is too much for you women to handle."

The two female agents gave him a dirty look.

"Hey," he said. "I'm not being sexist here or anything. It's just that the recoil is so powerful, that most men have problems with it. Myself, I've spent an entire month shooting with that thing, every day. It was a few years ago, but I think I can still handle it."

Anders and Toussaint gave each other a look, and broke into a smile.

"Will that be all?" Toussaint asked.

"For now. I want the 9mm ammo before we leave, and the .357 ammo waiting in New York. Anything else I need I'll discuss with them when we get there."

"Okay, I'll get right on it," Toussaint said with a smile.

Cody smiled back and left the office. He went down to the garage and got into his Cougar. He started it and drove back home. Two hours later he was at the airport.
