Cyrus
Cyrus is a very brave knight that lived during the middle ages, and was the defendor of Queen Leene. His best friend was Glenn, who later is turned into a frog.
Cyrus cannot join your group, though rumors exist that it is possible(by using new game+) to use the Chrono Trigger to save Cyrus instead of Crono.
Belthasar
Belthasar is one of the three guru's. He originally lived during the Dark Ages, but through a time gate ended up in 2300 AD. He is the inventor of the Epoch, otherwise known as "The Wings of Time."
Schala
Schala is a sorceress that lives during the Dark Ages. She is Janus' sister, and Zeal's daughter. The Mammon Machine will not run without her, and she knows that Lavos is evil.
Janus
Janus was the son of Zeal during the Dark Ages, and was also the brother of Schala. During the same accident that sent the three guru's to different time periods, Janus was sent to the Middle Ages, where Ozzie found him. Janus grew up to be Magus, a very powerful Mystic Wizard that plays a major part in the game.
Johnny
Johnny is a strange person that lives in the future. In order to safely cross the ruins, you must race Johnny on a motorized car. Johnny has a motorcycle built onto his body.
Kino
Kino is Ayla's boyfriend that lives in 65,000,000 BC. He steals Crono's supplies and runs away because he is jealous of him. Later, Kino is captured by the Reptities, and Ayla has to rescue him.
Leene
Leene is the queen during the Middle Ages, and looks just like Marle. Leene is kidnapped by Magus, and Frog rescues her. But in the changed timeline, Marle is cited and mistaken for Leene. Of course, Frog and Crono save her, and all ends well. Cyrus was sworn to protect her, and when he dies, Frog swares to protect her in Cyrus's name.
Masa and Mune
Masa and Mune are two entities which make up the sword Masamune. Together, they are extremely powerful. The first time you meet them, you must be "tested". If you pass, they fight you "for real this time". If you defeat them, you recieve the Broken Masamune, which must be fixed by Melchior.
Melchior
Melchior is one of the guru's that lives during the Dark Ages. He is the one that made the Masamune. During the accident involving the time gates, he is transported into the villige of Mystics, circa 1000 AD.
Tata
Tata is a young boy that lives during the middle ages. He found the Hero Medal that Frog dropped in a tavern, and was going to sell it. However, when people started calling him a hero, he ate it up. He traveled to the Denadoro Mts. to find the Masamune, but was driven off. Later he will give the Hero Medal to you.
Toma
Toma is the famed adventurer that lived during the Middle Ages. He is responsible for finding the Rainbow shell. If you pour soda pop onto his grave, he will tell you where it is.
Fiona
Fiona is a woman that lives during the middle ages, in a little forest. However, a monster comes around and destroyes the forest. But if you take Robo over to her after you defeat the monsters, he will stay behind and replant the forest.
