John L. Little - 12/10/00 04:40:23 My Email:jge@ipa.net | Comments: Just finished your book (The New Madrid Run). I really enjoyed it. I was a helicopter pilot in the Army for a long time then retired and worked for the government for several more years. The book really hit home with me. My headquarters has a contingency plan for an earthquake due to the New Madrid fault. I spent many hours over the past few years determining what support we would provide and where we would put it in the event of an earthquake in that region. Wish you would consider writing a book about treasure hidden in the Arkansas hills (caves?) by outlaws/pirates in the 1600-1800s or even earlier, then fast forward to the present day with a story about an individual accidently finding the treasure (maybe while hunting, taking refuge from a storm or something) and using it to finance additional treasure hunts or some such. Would need a strong leading man like Travis Christian and a strong support cast. I will locate your other books and read them. I like your writing style. I look forward to your next book! |

It's really got the Austrailians worried...A chunk of ice the size of Texas, and 3 miles deep dropping into the ocean is liable to really cause some worldwide disasters, hardly anyone in the states has ev n heard of it. Last I heard it's cracked halfway now....Take care now, got to get back to my book. @#134Gene@#134 |
