This page is dedicated to giving information on the four categories of the Fae, and this is information from varied sources. I hope you enjoy the information I have gathered here.

There are more types of Fairies than we can count and they do a lot of things to keep our Earth growing. There are Flower Faeries, Wood Faeries, Water Faeries, Air Faeries, Fire Faeries, and the list goes on and on. They can be classified into four groupings; Sylph, Gnome, Niad, and Salamander, complete with their own King and Archangel. They are very unique, fun, and as real as you and me...with some differences of course. They may not be easy to see all the time because they are shy and reluctant to show themselves, but their presence is everywhere.

Sylphs

Sylphs are Faeries with wings. They have many job listings an help create many things with not only the sky, but also what seems to be Earth-bound as well. Here is a listing of some of the jobs they do: They create wind from the littlest breeze to the 50 MPH winds in a hurricane. Sunsets are products of them using the pollution for some beauty in this world. They assist the growth of flowers, trees, and other flora. Sylphs help carry over the dead, especially children.

Here are some interesting points on Sylphs: Their Archangel is Raphael, the healer of healers. Their element is Air, which is electric in nature. Yello is their color of reference. The direction is East and the season is spring. They love children and tend to be around them the most. They love playing mind games, like hiding items, putting someone in a "whirlwind", and they have been known to get people lost in the woods.

Gnome

Gnomes are Earth-bound elementals who do a lot of upkeep upon the Earth. There are many different kinds of Earth elementals, including the Gnomes, Elves, Trolls, and the tricky Leprecaun. Here are a few things they do: They assist the growth of trees and other plants. They clean the soil so more plants may be produced. Seeds are germinated with their help. Some manifest money in our lives. Gifts of Earth that "magically" appear are gifts from them. They give stones their energy.

Gnome facts: The Archangel is Auriel. The season is Winter and the wind is North. Green is their color of association. When asked, they assist in personal growth, something they love. When you kindly ask them, they will bring money into your life. However, be careful of what you ask for. BE SPECIFIC!!! They are the one element you see the least. They can be shrewd, yet they are very loving to the Earth itself. They like those who garden, work for a cleaner enviroment, and those who advocate a better and cleaner Earth.
