| Today yankees lost to the mets in the subway series 8 to 9.In the yankees Paul O'neil hit 2 home runs and so did jorge posada, and knoblauch hit one.In the bottom of the ninth inning franco was batting for mora and hit a single to right, then paul oneil tried to beat the runner in the third but alfonzo beat paul o'neal's throw.But not to worry yankees have two more chances to win the series! 7-10-99 |
