Schani Fransen very kindly added a link to my site from his site..
In his discription of my site he said it was the unofficial home of the newsgroup. This kind of made
me think that I might have to put a lot more effort into the maintaing these pages than my normal half arsed
efforts so far. So for additional content I've come up with this page. In it I will regularaly add snippets
from threads that I find perticularily entertaining. Just snippets of course as some of the threads get damn huge
and anyway if you want to see entire threads go to Deja-News.
By the way, yes, I have edited the posts slighlty, usually it's just to tidy up line breaks but I have deleted the
odd quoted .sig or snipped a large quoted section. Because I am just taking out sections of threads it is not so
neccesary for the reader to be reminded of what has gone before. If you feel by this editing I have completely
lost the meaning of one of your, or someone elses, post then please e-mail me at huttona@dcs.gla.ac.uk
and I will replace it with the full un-editied original.
