Yule Recipes

YULE FIRE OIL

A rich spicy scent that honors the immortality, joy, and light celebrated at Yule.
2 drops Frankincense
2 drops Pine
1 drop Juniper
1 drop Clove
1 drop Oak Moss
Mix together in a small vial. Place in a difuser to release fragrance.

NOTE: Instead of buying lots of bottles of incense ask your local Pagan store if they sell their incense by the drop.

WASSIL

1 quart Ale or Wine
1 quart Rum or Brandy
1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon Ginger
1/2 teaspoon Grated Lemon Peel
2 Roasted(Baked) Apples
3 Eggs
4 ounces Powdered Sugar or Light Brown Sugar

Heat ale(or wine), spices and apples until mixture is almost boiled. Beat eggs and sugar together till frothy and add to heated mixture. Add Rum or Brandy. Strain. Serve hot.
