Phoenix was plunged into a coma when she tried to

made her catatonic until Professor X helped her and

trained her to use her powers to benefit mankind.

Current Status: Phoenix is currently in the pages of Wolverine

along with some of her fellow X-MEN trying to avoid recapture

by Bastion and his Prime Sentinals in this summer's biggest crossover.
