The Meaning of X

DanaK was distressed about the loss of her friends. She wondered what had happened to them and so she reluctantly called Mulder for help. Mulder went round to see Scully straight away and it was decided between them that, DR Gloom should be stopped and that they should go to the pub for a nightcap.

DanaK's drink was infiltrated at the pub, by an undercover Gloom Agent and she forgot about the other SMART Operators and so Mystical Fairy, Minneapolis, Tinkerbell and Buzzgirl were lost forever.

A few years later DanaK remembered about her long lost friends, but she was already married to Mulder so she didn't care anymore as the effect of the drink had served to depress her loyalty to her friends. The next day she apparently died after a computer bug jumped out of the computer and kidnapped her.

Mulder never survived the sorrow and he spent the rest of his life searching for the SMART Operators, who fortunately had taken over Dr Gloom's kingdom under strict SMART Operations regulations. They watched over Mulder as he searched for the whereabouts of DanaK, but never told him that DanaK was with them all the time.

She knew that she could never go back to Mulder and that she could never let him know that she was alive as this would sacrifice the mission of SMART Domination.
