Well I always knew Voyager would make it. My certainty of that never wavered.
Earth.
It fills the viewscreen and it is so... beautiful.
I watch, as around me elation rules the moment.
Tom and B'Elanna in a tight, wordless embrace.
Harry crosses to shake Tuvok's hand, and my Vulcan security officer doesn't protest, which surprises me. Harry then makes his way down to Tom and B'Elanna, and it becomes a three-way hug.
Chakotay, Neelix, the Doctor and Seven stand together exchanging congratulations and smiles.
I watch. And I know I should feel happy, but I don't.
I feel empty.
