Gundam Wing

War, peace, angst, and love... all in an ambiguous and growing package. The future of Earth holds many advances- the Earth has become more united, stationary colonies have been created around the Earth, the moon has been colonized... and large human-like machines have been created, called Mobile Suits.

The Earth and colonies are ruled by the Alliance and the Alliance's military force, Oz. Most of the people who moved to the colonies are workers and laymen. To live on Earth becomes almost a status symbol- it is for the aristocrats, the superiors, and the "original" people. Thus, the Alliance began to oppress the colonists and hate began to form and spread...

...but it was stopped through the work of two great men. Heero Yui is a rising leader for the colonies- well-respected, intelligent, and peaceful. King Peacecraft is the ruler of the Sanq Kingdom, a pacifist nation. Together, they create a working peace for the future.

And then tragedy strikes. Heero Yui is publicly assassinated. And the Sanq Kingdom is attacked, burned to the ground- with King and Queen Peacecraft in it. And full-fledged war returns, rearing it's ugly head.

It's the year After Colony 195. The colonies will no longer stand the oppression. On each colony, a scientist has created a new type of mobile suit made out of a new metal alloy called Gundanium. These are the Gundam. Their pilots- five mysterious figures who rise out of the rubble to fight for the colonies. All who oppose them die. All who know them change. They are the ones who will turn the tide in the bloody era and the ones who leave destruction and hope in their wake...
