Original Artwork
Well, here we go. I've included stuff I love and don't like in hopes that someone will appreciate it. This stuff really isn't in chronological order.
I have a LOT more to put up here. I just have to take a picture of it. If my mom will let me... there are some definite drawbacks to giving art to family. And if you care, I AM an actual artist. I've sold a piece- sadly, I have no picture. Grr...

Mwahaha... I couldn't resist. Kanga is so cute! She sits on top of my monitor, slumped of my Disneyland Princess Tiara, with my special thimble in her pocket. She was begging to be drawn! I really like how this turned out. I was thinking of a lot of bubbles, then lo! Kanga! (btw, "Kanga" doesn't refer to anything related to "Winnie the Pooh". I just like that name for her)

I love watercolors. I do. Really. So when I had free time in my sophomore year of high school, what did I do? I broke out the watercolors.
Now, I confess- I don't know what a ship looks like. Wait. That sounds stupid. Of course I know when I see a ship that it IS a SHIP. But when I'm actually DRAWING a ship without a reference... well, things end up in funny places. And proportions are crazy. But that's not why I put this up. It's because I love the splashing water effect. I don't know how that happened- one afternoon, I just went crazy with water, salt rocks, and some rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, the next day... there it was, in all it's glory.
This is my fav watercolor I've ever done. Seriously. Maybe you will like it.

Haha! A pixie! Or something... It was the last night I was home for Spring Break, and I was kind of down about getting back to work, but kind of up about getting back to work... you know how it goes. So I decided to see if I still could draw girl's faces at random. And you know what? I could! I showed it to my mom. I was very happy.
So, I'm putting it up for your benefit. Ha ha!

Proof that I'm a random person indeed. This was during my first college art class. I REALLY disliked that class. The energy level was really low, the teacher was rather restrictive, and I just didn't have fun as I used to in high school.
I was gonna turn this into a border for my pages, but... I don't know... it's rather funky, and I'm using a rather classy style now...

Yes! I CAN do computer art! This would be the second success with my WAAAAYYYY too old mouse. The first is on the icon buttons you see around. That cute little flower? All me, baby. I love it.

Gah... it's me... Sigh. Done in art class last semester. I don't remember if this was an assignment or just me waiting to get out of there. I think it's the latter, as I kind of like it. It's rather realistic. I honestly tried not to "anime-fy" it.

Stonehenge. I did a series (read: two acrylic paintings) set in Stonehenge. Since it was an assignment for my art class in senior year, it meant I had to do a lot of preparatory work. So I began to do little doodles of Stonehenge over everything. And what do I get? This kawaii sketch of Stonehenge. One of my fav sketches of all time.

"The Clouds Part" (it's so special, it gets a title!): This was my present to my mother for her birthday. It was a few days before when I realized that I had nothing to give her. And she's stuck at home with three boys who would still appreciate Beavis and Butthead if they were reminded of that thing... I had to do something special.
Being a poor college student, I didn't have a lot to offer. I DID, however, have a small canvas, some old acrylics, and a couple old paintbrushes. It's been AGES since I last used them. And I thought, what the heck?
The subject of this easily came to me- this is the background of my infamous "wolf picture" (I can't even remember the title anymore!). That was the picture I sold and hence, no longer have to look at anymore. I remember I spent so much time on the background... the image haunted me. The sold version was cool with airbrush, but I like the way it looks with acrylics as well. All in all, I'm pretty happy with this sans wolf. Mom was pretty thrilled as well. Maybe I'll make another version and try to sell it.
I scanned the picture, but didn't like the way it turned out... so I edited it! I'm including the original and edited version.

Vesuvious |
I am a part of a VERY special and talented group called Vesuvious. It's a group consisting of me and my best friends. We all met at various points of life and grouped up in high school. We are a crazy bunch, but we all love life and want to change the world somehow. And we will! Eventually. Anyway, the idea for T-shirts came up and we were all crossed on what to pick as a representative. At one point, it was a monkey on a banana-phone. And there are still some suggestions being thrown around. Don't think we're going to do that anytime soon though. And anyway, it would be a bit silly, as we like to promote individuality. Why do that wearing the same t-shirt? Besides the fun in having it, I mean.
ANYWAY, I started sketching our "Rubber Leviathon" as a mascot for the Team V. And no, unless you're a member of Vesuvious, you do not know what a Rubber Leviathon is and I'm not in the mood to tell you. Just nod your head for now and look at my pretty pictures.
I've included all the fun versions I made. There are four, I believe... I think I drew a couple more, but I can't find them if I did.
Vesuvious, what do you think about this? I know I'd said I would show them before, but heck, when have I ever done anything on time?
