JJArrows: This is nice, with good imargery and well-done characterization, especially on Ekuar's part. The only thing that's confusing are all the tense changes.

JJArrows2: HA! Rayek getting high off dreamberry juice! I love it! I also love the opening with Petalwing -- I think, for some reason, Petalwing ensnares me more into the story.

>>Concentrating carefully, he 'picked up' the dreamjuice jug, refilled his mug, and gently set the jug back down without spilling a drop. With the twitch of a finger, he called the mug back to him.<<

AUGH! He's turning into Alex Mack!! NOOOoooOO!! Just kiddin'. I like the "More. He definitely wanted more." line. :)

I also like being able to finally see Rayek's playful side. Well done. This is my favorite part out of the three you've sent so far. Good job! Keep it up!

JJArrows3: WOW! I love seeing playful Rayek. You give us a glimpse of him that I know must be there, but isn't shown very much in the comics. :)

JJArrows4: >>Ember chuckled at the image of the quiet rock-shaper dashing around in a drunken haze.<<

I like Ember's own version of Egg being drunk, based on how the story was in her head when it was shared with her. Nice touch.

>>Rayek struggled up to a reclined position, and propped himself on his elbows. "Hello, Leetah. Hello, Leetah. Hello, Leetah. When did you become triplets?" he asked, dark features smiling bemusedly. Abruptly he fell backward, head clunking solidly on the platform. "Owch."<<

This has now become one of my favorite stories! :) :)

>>"I'd like to get off."<<

The only thing with this line is that the elves don't know what elevators are.

>>Rayek all but squealed with delight<<

I like imagining Rayek squeal with delight. :) :)

>>"You could tell stories, but you don't want to bore everyone, do you Ahnshah dear?"<<

He reminds me of Arcane, right there. *bg* "Don't say anything bloody stupid, or I swear, Graham..."

This was absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to see more of our drunken "black-hair". :) Hey, is the healing thing going to be explained? Interesting mysteries raised.

Jessica Orr: *takes a moment to giggle maliciously on her own Rayek story*

Suspenseful, huh? ;) Okay, here's -my- take on "Festival pt. 3". The first two parts, I wasn't sure what to make of it. It didn't grab my attention well enough, but Part 3 made up for it, royally! Well-written, very good. Loved the scene with Rayek and Petalwing. ;)

*sigh* A drunk Rayek. What a thought. ;)

Jereyln Parker: I positively glowed with enjoyment of "Festival". Loved it!

Lynda Tatad: It's so nice to read about a dreamberry mellowed Rayek, and to read something fun that's happening with the EQ characters! If you have more ideas for continuing 'Festival', please do! There have been too few chances for the elves to relax nad enjoy themselves, it's nice to be able to read about one of those chances. Thanks,

Mimi Cottle: Oh my! I loved Festival! The visual imagery is so great that I can just see Rayek buzzed off his arse and prone to quirkiness!

Miyaka Yuuki: I wanna hear more about Rayek. Please? I liked this. It was really good. Thanks. Sorry it's taken so long for me to read it. It's nice to read something frivolous with Rayek in it. :)

Ian Stamford: It's nice to see the high and mighty (no pun intended) Palace Master brought down to earth (abode?) by a little Dreamberry wine - keep it coming!

Whitney Prince: Yesyesyes! Give us more! I love this story. I laughed out loud several times during this last chapter. If I find time, I may very well write an all-out review on it. It's nice to see Rayek letting his hair down for once! He's usually so stuffy and upright. :)

Whitney2: I laughed out loud when reading Festival. How good it was to read a tale about Rayek actually letting his hair down! Sure, it takes dreamberries and some scheming on Ember and Mender's part to get him there, but it made for a light and very enjoyable tale. You clearly know the Pini's characters really well; your portrayal of them was completely believable. I know I'd really like to see more of your work on the list.
