MY OWN BELIEFS

"Do you believe in God?" This is a question I get fairly often. So...do I? Well, yes. I believe there is an omnipotent creative energy, and I believe there are "lesser" energies, positive and negative, masculine and feminine, I think it probable that these energies at one time took human form, or were of humanoid form. I believe that these "lesser" energies have had names attached to them ( Ex: Diane, Aphrodite, Artimis. you get the idea.) I would strongly suggest reading Zacharhia Stichens, "The 12th Planet". The first book of his series.

THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE?
The Bible! Well, I believe the Bible to be, "on the most part" true. You must remember that it has been changed and added to by each person revising it. It's not called the Kings James version for nothing! I think most people take the Bible the wrong way. To begin with, there were many books of scripture written, man decided which ones to put together and call "the Bible". The books left out are more detailed and deserve reading! There are also numerous translation problems!

"THOU SHALT NOT SUFFER..."What does the Bible say about Witches?

Well, NOT A LOT! Lets look at the main source of this: Exodus 22:18--"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." As was pointed out as early as 1584 by Reginold Scot in "The Discovery Of Witchcraft," the original word in Hebrew, chasaph means "poisoner," not Witch. At the time of writing, a poisoner could ruin a well and kill many people and livestock. This is what the Bible originally referred to.
King James I had a paranoid fear of Witches (as evidenced by his book, Daemonologie) and deliberately had his translators alter the text to prove grounds for the extermination of Witches. Reginold Scot's book was burned at the command of James I.
The other well known quote, comes from the story of the "Witch of Endor" found in I Samuel, 28. Was she a witch? According to the Bible, NO. the Bible states she was, "a woman that hath a familiar spirit." Apparently, this woman was what we today, would call a "channel" or some type of medium.
These incorrect
translations, still in use today, have been the cause for thousands to die

A couple of fabulous links to some to the true text and Hebrew meaning of the modern bible, lost in translation.
