Mar. 2001 - Present Web Developer at Ramsey County IS Department
In charge of web development, which include IIS web server configuration, maintenance, website design and on-line forms/document management for the county’s internet/intranet.
My main responsibility is to make Ramsey County's website more interactive, dynamic and database driven.

Jan. 1999 – Mar. 2001 Software Engineer at Fourth Shift Corp.
Developed and maintained Fourth Shift’s ERP product on Windows NT using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Customize the software to fit the customer’s special requirements.

July 1997 – Jan. 1999 Software Engineer at VISTA Information Solutions
Participated in the development and maintenance of the multi-threaded Geographic Underwriting System (GUS) project in Windows NT environment. Responsible for creating and maintaining programs by using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and Visual SourceSafe 5.0, and generating GUI installation scripts by using the WISE Installation System 6.0. Also responsible for developing and updating the Software Engineering department’s home page on the Intranet using HTML, Java Script and FrontPage 98.

Sep. 1996 - July 1997 Software Engineer at Bit 3 Computer Corp.
Developed and maintained diagnostic programs for hardware engineers to test Bit 3's PCI boards. Tested and debugged Bit 3's device driver for Windows 95, Windows NT, and Unix operating systems. Aided the technical support group to recreate and solve the customer’s technical problems. Also responsible for Bit 3's AIX network server system administration, and maintaining and trouble shooting CC mail gateway system.

Feb. 1995 - Sep. 1996 QA Engineer at Digi International
In charge of testing Digi’s async multi-user products on Unix operating systems (SCO, UnixWare, AIX, Solaris, etc.). Responsible for software/hardware installations, system configuration, and device driver test. Wrote shell scripts and C programs to automate the benchmark test for Digi’s async products. Also responsible for setting up LAN network environment to test Digi’s device driver and the PortServer project line.

In charge of daily operation of the restaurant business with 7 - 10 employees
Main duties included: accounting, ordering, scheduling, hiring, advertising and managing waiter/waitresses and kitchen staff.
