The Enemy Within

I changed my mind with the original episode review. I rewatched the show when it was on Fox. I liked it. I really did. Still don't know why, though. Anyway, the episode had really good acting from Jay Avocone. I mean, it's not exactly like you can really prepare for the role. There isn't anything you can read up on about Goa'uld possession. And, if you were to ask the director "well...what's my motivation?" the conversation would probably go as follows: "Uh...you're possessed by a small little worm that wants to rule the world...and you're sad...'cause...well...'cause who wouldn't be sad if the found out they were possessed by a little worm who wants to rule the world?" aSo, given the circumstances, Avocone did pretty good.

Everyone else's acting was pretty good too, I suppose. Poor Teal'C being interrogated by all those annoying G-Men, poor O'Neill and those stupid people who can't spell alien words like "Teal'C" right (and how stupid can those guys get? I mean, *anyone* can spell Teal'C. It's common knowledge), poor Daniel with his caffeine dependency, and on top of finding a dead body. And poor Carter with being forced into an elevator by a little worm controlling a really big guy who wants to take over the world.
