IT'S ABOUT TIME!
The second I would like to make is:
Odo’s a Nazi!!
Anyway, I was very happy with "The Other Side" (except for the end, which sort of just ended). It had, pretty much, everything I could possibly want in an SG-1 episode. Good tension between Jack and Daniel, a civilisation that is *more* advanced than us, plenty of good moral questions being asked, Nazi's, and a guest star from Deep Space Nine (although, can we maybe get Alexander Siddig next time? Please? Pleeeeeeeease?).
Yes, in case you were wondering, I am *very* happy to *finally* see an episode where the aliens have different morals, and their morals ARE NOT CHANGED! SG-1 made no efforts to try to change their morals, they simply said "Alright, we're gone. Goodbye". Although, IMHO, it would have been much more interesting to have the SGC help the Nazi's (which is what they are, really), and find out *after* the war has been won what was going on. But, I realise, this is TV, and TV must eventually end up happily ever after. So, I will save my Terry Gilliam-like hopes for my own TV show (note to self: get a TV show).
Anyway, what else did I want to say? Oh yes. Odo. I realise, of course, that it is not Odo. It is Rene somebodyrather (whose name I can *never* remember how to spell). And he didn't look like Odo. But he *sounded* like Odo. And I couldn't do anything but hear Odo every time. Is that *wrong*? Does this make me a bad person? I don't think it does. Simply....obsessed? I can live with that.
I liked the Jack and Daniel interaction, as I said before. It’s fun. It’s good. It should happen more often. Can it? Please? I had more I wanted to say on this, but I forgot. I’m sorry.
