Bester kills some MetaSensories sent after him on asteroid.  It's 2271, the PsiCorps turned against Bester in the Telepath War.  He ran 'reeducation camps' which slaughtered Blips, Caroyln was killed in rebel attack.  He was in a war trial, he thinks he saved the Shadow War.  Garabaldi pissed they failed, don't trust MPs.  Bester decides to go to Earth despite dangers, runs into military teep and implants false trail in him.  Bester lives in Paris, befriends Louise who runs cheap hotel, reprograms protection thug to repay her.  works as literary critic, falls for Laurie.  Garbaaldi living happy family life w/ 4yr old daughter Mary.  Learns Bester needs drug to survive so buys the company that makes it.
Bester falls in love with Louise.  Garabaldi cuts Bester's drug, he uses Jem to secretly steal it from pharmacy, Jem dies in explosion.  Garabaldi doesn't suspect connection.  Bester recognized by former PsiCorps, kills him then vows to life new life no murders.  Louise returns with Clark-side military sister.  Detective investigates PsiCorps guy's death, suspects teeps then Bester.  record check calls up Garabaldi, who leaves for Paris they know Bester's there.  Bester begins writing novel bout teeps.  Louise's cop friend warns Bester police interest in him.  Garabaldi and young teep who met Bester (working for him now) arrive on Paris, know Bester worked with Jem.  Garabaldi finds Bester is writing critques, bumbled arrest goes on news, public knowledge that Garabaldi is looking for Bester in Paris.  Bester's Metapol insiders delay hotel search & arrest Garabaldi.  Bester meets Louise who says she loves him and wants to go with him, he erases her memory of him and leaves heartbroken.  Garabaldi starts fight with Metapol leader (Bester ally), in gun fight she's taken out and Garabaldi goes hunting with MetaPol.  cop confronts Bester knowing he's Bester.  Bester talks him down and leaves.  Garabaldi leads search, Bester flees weakened barely defeats a P12 in mental battle.  Takes man hostage in car, young teep notices him and Garbaldi has car followed.  Bester lives with wife and son while father leaves, Garbaldi grabs him.  Terrorists once bombed Bester's Mars Office depressurizing it, and one time Lyta ambushed Betser but he sensed her prescense ahead of time.  detective Girad takes charge over Garabaldi, goes into apartment to find Bester gone.  Garabaldi goes down garbage chute gets stuck while Bester takes out group in apartment.  Makes Girad tell cops he's gone somewhere else.  Goes to kill Garbaldi, who manages to break down into lower apartment as Bester shoots his collarbone.  Lucky cop hits Bester w/ some dart, Garabaldi has brief shootout with him, Bester flees to streets.  Bester realizes the dart had sleepers!  Lyta did release Garbabaldi's 'asimov' and Bester killed Lyta.  Rain disbursts PPG blasts, they fight it out.  Garabaldi defeats Bester, decides not to kill him.   ... Bester being tried in France, Garabaldi in hospital.  Sheridan has disapeered as he is wont to do lately.  At trial Bester gives speech how he was defending his people against their coming extermination, which has happened all during teep history.  Bester gets life imprisonment, for 10 years writes memoirs while on sleepers in teep war criminal prison where he grew up as Teeptown.  He gets news of Sheridan's death.  New statue put up outside his window, of his unknown parents and him as infant, he realizes the truth he learned from his godfather/reistance teep who he shot till his hand deformed.  He decides not to put it in his memoirs as a final insult, dies that night with his hand unparalyzed.  at funeral, only Girard shows up, later he sees Garabaldi arrive and drive stake into the ground.

The Long Night of Centauri Prime (Legions of Fire Book One)
Londo joined to Keeper by Shiv'kala, Drakh Leader, who feels sorry for him.  Londo walks through city accompanied by security Durla.  He's attacked by young girl Senna, daughter of Refa, he takes her in for opposing him against Durla's wishes.  Shiv'kala tells him to promote Durla, agrees to let Senna stay, knows he was planning suicide until he met Senna.  Dracula was a Drakh who visited Earth.  Shiv'kala gives him name to Londo, who is questioned by the Drakh Entire for showing sympathy.  Senna is taught by hippie Elaris, who Durla dislikes.  Later Elaris is killed in explosion, framed as Alliance saboteur.  Londo chews him out, gets punished for it by Shiv'kala must sit in throne silently.  Vir visits Prime for party after 8 months of being ignored by Londo.  Londo subtly gives him message that he has nothing and is under watch, also naming a Centauri on B5 and relating him to an assassinated Emperor.  Durla distrusts Vir.  On B5, a sleeper person will assassinate Sheridan.  He is met by someone.  (p.100)  Vir asks Zack bout name, a lurker in Down Below.  Vir suspects Durla is blackmailing Londo.  Garabaldi takes Vir to Sheridan; Down Below tour, others don't want Vir but Sheridan does, Vir says he won't attend.  Durla killed his overachieving brother has curhs on Londo ex-wife Mariel who spurns him.  He plots revenge on Londo shocked at his new power.  Has dream where Mariel offers herself if he searches Rim worlds for ancient weapons, they shouldn't conquest yet.  It's a Dreamweaver controlled by Shiv'kala.  Vir realizes Londo was saying the bum will assassinate Sheridan on Down Below tour; races down and attacks bum as Sheridan arrives.  A 'Sleeper' exits throat comes after Vir, stomped by a Technomage "cloistered" initiate calling himself Kane.  Not his real name, the Sleeper was Shadow tech.  Kane impressed w/ Vir, mentions a dark power they are studying which is on Prime.  Shiv'kala told Londo the plan b/c the Entire needed to test his loyalty which he failed.  Londo hit w/ worst pain ever agrees to betray Sheridan; given the urn w/ sleeping Keeper to give for Sheridan's son on Minbar.  Through Lione, Durla hires Mariel as spy on Alliance.  [2265-7]  Senna spots Londo asleep writing book, reads of his meet w/ Sheridan Delenn on Minbar, hints of Keeper urn & Drakh.  Londo wakes enraged, Senna flees into city.  Londo questions Rim digs, Shiv'kala warns him.  (p.200)  Londo finds Senna in city they make up she returns.   Kane bumps into Londo, Londo starts revival of Centauri non-violent pride.  A Rim dig worker killed by something vast dark under planet which has lain for millenia.  Mariel joins Vir on B5 seduces him makes him popular w/ others.  The "telepath wars" have occured.  Months later Kane shows Vir she is spying on him & Alliance for Prime.  Technomages are not allowed to use their magic to mislead or alter reality.  Kane says the Drakh, Shadow servants, control Prime and Londo, Vir has a destiny he must realize now to fight the darkness.  Kane should not be interfering but he must, the Prime palace is too dangerous for him.  Kane placed bug on Londo when he was in city but Drakh quickly found it; shows recording of Shiv'kala talking to Londo bout K0643.  Tells Vir to say "Shiv'kala" to Londo when he is really drunk, disappears.  Vir immeadiately goes to Prime, finds Timov there.  Kane w/ Gwynn and Finian.  2 yrs before Timov joined Londo at Palace at Senna's urging.  Shiv'kala warns Londo on her, she better not stay.  Timov looks up K0643 for Vir, he tells her bout Mariel.  K0643:  Drakh impatient for emminent revealing of Hidden Base/Xha'dam.  Shadows could just activate homing device, they're hoping to get Shadows' power maybe make them return.  fat Kuto tells Durla of Timov's inquiry, Kuto spies for Lione bout Durla's asking of Mariel, observed by Shiv'kala.  Vir, Timov, Londo party drunk.  Vir says Shiv'kala, Londo sobers quickly KOs Vir then throws him in jail cell.  The Keeper quickly awoke at the name.  Shiv'kala tells Londo Vir will be killed, Londo drunkenly threatens him w/ sword, he agrees to just imprison him for now.  Timov willing to screw Londo, he refuses to share it w/ Drakh.  Has Durla arrest her for treason then bans her from Palace.  Londo frees Vir says never say that name, he is invincible as destined as next Emp, go to B5 and stay out of trouble.  Kuro tells Durla bout Mariel screwing Vir, Durla swears revenge on Vir in addition to Londo.  Outside Vir met by 3 Mages, they recruit him "to help us save the galaxy".

Armies of Light and Dark (Legions of Fire Book Two)
2267: 3 novice Technomages take Vir to K0643, most workers gone quakes.  Ts tell Vir call dig off, can't interfere only observe or protect each other, can't contact rest Ts on this planet.  quakes intensify, object is unearthed as a huge black jumpgate which opens to a vacuum, big black Drakh ships go in, Vir in T's ship also sucked in... to cloaked Shadow base Xha'dam where 3 Death Clouds are being constructed.  One leaves ("Call to Arms"), Vir turns another to destroy the Base, fighting off Drakh w Ts help, Kane killed by a Drakh.  They escape through gate, Galen appears to destroy it, chastizes 2 Ts.  Gwynn interrogated Drakh, found Drakh will lead fleet to Earth destroy it (aft Daltron 7 test run), recovered Plauge from Zha'dum for Minbar, only enough for one world.  Galen has special hatred for Shadow-tech, can intervene unlike cloisters, plans to try and stop it, tells Vir go back to B5 use his connections.  (65) 2268:  Londo despises Centauri celebratios of Earth Plague, Durla instituting religion on people, Londo decides needs Vir.  Londo's old aide replaced by young Throk of Prime Candidates at Durla's threat, secretly recruits Senna for info toying w Throk.  Galen visit Vir on B5, must go to CP, Vir decides needs love spell on Mariel to get in, Galen reluctantly agrees, gives him Shadow-tech scanner and 1way comm for Galen to direct his snooping in Palace.  Mariel becomes mindless devoted to Vir, spell can't be revoked, Mariel gets Durla to invite them to CP (Londo convinced him to go).  Galen 2Ts watch Vir explore Palace, looses comm from Drakh "wards" about to open door to Drakh nest.  Londo stops Vir, greets him clues him in.  Lione orders Mariel to spy again.  Vir mugged on way to visit Galen, beats guy keeps knife.  Galen shows him recording of Drakh nest, Londo's Keeper, learns alcohol can put it out, cant read thoughts.  Galen refuses to recruit Londo, wants to tell Gideon or Sheridan for Alliance intervention, Vir refuses would be another bloodbath must be handled internally, they accept his secret master plan.  (160) 2269: Vir gives Mariel to Durla as a mole through card game, Londo miffed.  Prime Candidates act robotically used for unknown assignments.  2270: Alliance detects military buildup on Xonos orders halt.  Londo denies Throk Senna for marriage, decks Throk for hitting Senna.  Garibaldi G'Kar Lou Walsh visit CP for inspection.  Walsh uses old stolen invisibility cloak from Drakh crash to break in Candidate HQ find records thousands troops, secret colony mobilizations.  Shiv'kala spots him disables field, Throk kills him.  Finian dissects brain for last memories, tells Vir.  Vir tells GG for Sheridan vow not to move on it, Vir will kill Welsh's killer handle it internally.  Vir bombs Candidate HQ kills Throk.  Vir summons his allies at B5 to start sabotage campaign to convince the rest to turn against the policy.  2271: colony secret bases bombed, Dunseny rejoins Londo as Vir mole.  Prime Minister Durla meets Sheridan Garibaldi on Mars, accuses Alliane of bombings recorded for home.  Delenn (and young David) warn Sheridan dream of one eye, Londo, Centauri.  Alliance is no longer prepared to go to war w Centauri until last moment.  2273: Durla purging any who oppose him, come for Londo but Londo puts a knife to his throat in Durla's hands, spooks him off.  Londo orders all foreigners expelled, to keep out of fight.

Out of Darkness (Legions of Fire Book Three)
74: Londo bond crying Mariel.  Drazi protest invasion world, corrupt system, ambassador killed Lione mob aide kept quiet. Sheridan Delenn GKar Garabaldi, Centauri invading small worlds Alliance wont intervene, 12yr old David human app energetic smart, GKar witnesses Drazi murder on CP. 75: Londo see Senna work w Vir, Durla Shadow-inspired dream designs. (35) Durla interrogate Lamas, TM mindblock, killed by House head imprisoned. Lione protests, Durla threatens, think Mariel manipulate him beat her. Vir questioned Shiv'kala saying his name, claim hapless pawn TMs, SK offer power deal when Emp. Senna reveals she knows bout Vir joins, kisses him. Durla goes aft Houses protest to Londo, he chides them for letting Durla rise. SK tells Londo he protects him, suspicious Vir. Londo breaks into Durla meeting 1st time, plan strike Alliance homeworlds in 2yrs Sheridan never really fought a war, anti-Sheridan speech to people.  sniper shoots at Londo Durla, stopped by G'Kar in changling net, Londo spares him jailed. Sheridan-Delenn told Vir he'll be safe. (100) Vir rebels meet catacombs, Finian Gwynn kill Drakh searching, plan ally Houses use fleet to hunt Drakh when takeover. 76: Londo has meals w GKar, knows hes being saved for Londo's escape from life, Centauri thought humans would destroy themselves. Durla dream, son will deliver him Sheridan-Delenn, Mariel tell him off calls Londo for help. David bday want see galaxy given keeper urn. Durla suspect general Rhys he gets go-code. David taken over Keeper, Sheridan spots it ko-ed, David escapes in shuttle, know Londo urn. (150) 77: Londo hears of David beat Mariel, decks Durla, given Drakh pain Durla removes GKar's fake eye, Drakh plan kill Sheridan-Delenn put Keeper-David in charge Alliance. Londo call Timov she knows, dying, seer.  Garabaldi confront Vir, Vir puts blade to him, learns David, reveals Londo-Drakh-CP promises he'll take care of it.  Sheridan-Delenn given ultimatum go to CP.  Durla sends fleet to staging points await go-code, 3000 ships larger any one fleet.  Senna gets Vir to Mariel, no more info shared, Vir confesses spell she wont believe.  Londo-Vir dinner, cryptic warning Drakh in Tower, Vir tells rebels TMs didnt know.  Sheridan put w GKar, Londo ask Delenn for info Minbari War.  Durla speech to people, Tower detonated, Drakh bodies fly out, Vir announce Drakh to CP, black Drakh ship appear, Drakh army in catacombs massacred.  Ministers question Durla he kills them, Mariel throws herself & Durla out balcony before go-code given.  78: SK order Londo give go-code bomb threat, refuses detonates 1/3 bombs! orders him execute S-D, agrees spare Vir, Drakh will pretend to leave to fool Alliance.  Finian goes deactivate rest bombs didnt know, Vir gets Gwynn sneak him in Palace.  Londo berate WWE2 Sheridan, start InBeginning.  S-D WWE2.  End ITB, Vir meets Londo records his history, PILOT open narration, take his secret book flee w Senna now lover.  GKar taken to Londo, drunk shows Keeper, hides when S-D taken to freedom WWE2, GKar chokes Londo Keeper wakes.  S-D flee ship w ko-ed David.  Timov dies when Londo GKar do.  Vir find bodies, kill Keeper, confronted SK jump out window to TM ship, Drakhs killed.  Vir will become Emp w supp from Sheridan, TMs, and Rhys.  worked on Minbar, Houses agreed Emp Vir, send fleet aft Drakh w Alliance aid, Alliance teeps prevent Keeper infiltration.  Franklin examine David, must kill Keeper's source to free him.  Vir defends Londo to Garabaldi.  TMs refuse Vir any future help.  SK visit Vir on CP, exiled from Drakh for failture will kill Vir start over, Garabaldi in hiding kills him, David freed.  Sheridan quits President to take David round galaxy, Delenn replace.  Vir dream of Londo warn watch shadows.

B followers need order to avoid chaos. E/Sheridan/Londo, Morden confront E w final offer, E refuse threaten Morden grab his stone, E send A aft GB. Morden help Londo setup TMs. B go off alone order G leave, probe see Elizar Razeel Bunny interrogate koB. G G'Leel go aft B, G post E Shadow comm files. (230) GG go past unearthed Shadow ship to tunnels, grab Anna from Xener. Tilar mutilate B. Galen 1-s destroy Shadows Drakh soldiers, walk in on Elizar Razeel B, loose power, Rabelna shoot G'Leel. Drazi crisis take out 2nd transport, Carvin cheat Londo for transport, E recruit Sheridan for plan. G-Elizar: Tartatimude got tech from Shadows! only Circle knows, gets tech from Shadow agents! Shadows can turn off tech, if refuse ally stop supplying tech. tech research forbidden to hide secret, Aldwyn found from Tartatimude forced silent. TMs once more powerful, Elizar learned secret of tech control. Taratimude fought for Shadows in last war, tech makes them destructive killed each other off, why TMs are so angry cant get along, Code curbs chaos influence but loose power. Elizar ask G join Shadows tell hiding place, TMs spared. G refuse, Bunny scan G, Anna join/break nullifier, G kill Drakh Rabelna Tilar, Elizar Bunny escape. GBG'Leel reach excavation, G massacre hundreds Drakh, Aldwyn pick up as Shadow ship. they flee, G destroys entire city, Kosh intercepts them. Kosh begin doubt in last war, confirmed by reaction to Kell's disappearance, if G doesnt attack him then prove TMs should be spared. TMs leaving B5, half on doomed transport Ing-Radi, Morden delayed so Shadows dont see holos. Carvin to be saved but Londo gives her good seat on doomed transport condemning her. B stop G from destroying Kosh, Kosh lets them go. E/Londo, Ing-Radi sends Sheridan to spare E. transport explodes, Ing-Radi Carvin die. TMs gathering. B returned to see Shadow pilots not like TMs, confirm belief, G must master not bury his emotions. E apologize to G, fought Circle to reveal secret, G pissed agree go w them. A grief pissed, blurt they'll learn truth in 3yrs, G'Leel will fight, G refuses, A screams at him. TMs depart, G will find all 1-s, Elizar post to G didnt save them swear vengence. TMs last stop Lanep system, Earthforce created Shadow Hybrid from Shadow bit, went renegade destroyed base & Cerebus.  another reason TMs must flee, Earthforce soon discover TMs are Shadow Tech pursue them. only G will rescue Gideon, radio Hybrid tell stop, Hybrid attacks G, G dodges, Hybrid overheats destroyed, G meet Gideon tell his name. Kosh say G TMs transcend themselves.

The Arrival
Taelons are arriving on Earth after a year of broadcasting messages and images of themselves promising gifts to end suffering.  Jonothan Doors own a large corporation, married to dying Amanda, Joshua is a lawyer, he is cautiously optimistic bout Taelons hoping cure for Amanda.  There was a nuclear war in Middle East recently.  A Taelon shuttle lands at Doors house, Va'Lon and doc Namor there to help Amanda.  Va'Lon tells Doors he's a museum curator of life.  Va'Lon interested in art, mainly Doors' recently bought San Simeon estate of  late Hollywood celeb Hearst.  He asks to go there immeadiately by car.  Va'Lon refuses to talk about Taelons except that they should be refered to as male in a general sense.  Doors drives Va'Lon but is stopped by Shelby's militia who want to kidnap Va'Lon.  Doors bluffs that he has already kidnapped him and is taking him to Simeon, they let him go.  They arrive at Simeon.  Doors is told his father Jubal is coming to see him on an urgent matter.  Va'Lon only uses the bathroom no food or drink, he wants to buy Simeon off Doors as an HQ.  Jubal arrives, the plane nearby distresses Va'Lon.  Va'Lon retires to his room, Jubal tells Doors the first Taelon he was here in 1936...  (p.50)  as a teen with his parents, invited to keep teen movie star Esther company for the weekend Hearst party.  Jubal Ester walk the grounds at night, hear strange flying noise then reality gets blurred.  It happened earlier.  They feel drawn to 4 Egyptian statues, one is a female human-lion godess called Sekhmet.  Later they hear a strange voice and Sekhmet has moved off the pedestral, workers are trying to replace it.  Next day Jubal spots a Taelon fleeing in his ship, reality blurs, then a stiff motionless man w/ gun there.  Security takes the body drops it by the highway, Jubal agrees to keep quiet.  That night Jubal Esther have nightmares, they visit Sekhmet and reality blurs knocking them out.  (p.100) Jubal wakes in a Taelon bunk w/ semi-living rubber snake on floor.  Finds Shuttle cabin in ID space, knows he's on spaceship.  In another cabin finds an injured Taelon Lekren who ids himself.  He was hurt in a fight with Sekhmet, a very powerful enemy of both of them, and is going to get help for them all including Esther.  Sekhmet and his statues are a long story involving great mistakes made in a museum close by.  Sekhmet is an Urod, certain beings in the universe "who though intelligent have forfeited those innate rights that intelligence commonly confers".  Jubal's thoughts are very confused.  Leckren says they encountered "a re-adaption of reality" which is trying even for advanced beings.  After this, Jubal Esther will have no memory of this encounter.  He says the man is his assistant and was frozen in time by the Urod, it can blur minds and demolish bodies.  Leckren passes out.  Jubal finds Esther unconcious with a rubber snake in the next bunk, then the man unfrozen but unconscious with a rubber snake, then the Urod in the final cabin frozen in a block of pseudo-ice.  The Urod contacts Jubal to free him, he almost took over the ship from Leckren and they are struggling.  The Urod was injured, now only a portion of his power can be used.  The Urod have moved beyond gender and language, they are word-less.  Jubal doesn't know which one to trust.  Leckren says they are going to a museum/prison where others will help them, it is important that Jubal resist the Urod's thoughts.  Later the shuttle arrives at its destination but there is no activity.  Leckren says "we must be in the middle of a great and prolonged conflict", Jubal must carry the Urod then Esther off the ship.  Leckren wishes he could speak with the Synod.  The Urod tells Jubal not to trust Taelons or be the next conquered by them, Jubal senses the Urod is "a dominion of awsome power, consumed by ravenous hunger, and able to twist the foundations of reality in quest of satisfaction".  Jubal exits the shuttle into the station that is battle-scared and lifeless save images of dead Taelons, occaisonal humans and strange aliens which disappear when approached.  Jubal returns and gets the man's gun.  Leckren is shocked to learn everyone is dead, calls the body mirages "re-adaption", gives Jubal instructions.  In one room full of furnature he gets a hover-cart, some furniture is for non-human/Taelon anatomy.  The station is falling apart, some rooms: a green house with a yellow cloud which tried to attack him, a banquet table room which zigs and zags.  In some places gravity is very heavy.  A large observation deck where Leckren's shuttle can be seen to be alone.  (p.150)  He finds the processing room where they must take the Urod, it has a large glass chamber then rows of creatures in glass tubes including a man-shaped reptile and human woman, who move like puppets when approached.  He returns w/ gurney, Leckren says creatures are solid pictures only.  The Urod is moved onto the gurney, they take it to the processing room where Leckren strips it of the covering in the machine.  Jubal brings Ester to room for Leckren, who has collasped.  There are two glass tubes, for Urod and Ester.  Urod attacks Jubal who flees w/ Ester in panic from Leckren.  In one room a blurring gravity center which sucks in cart.  Jubal hides Ester in observation room, returns to shuttle to find the man, Lobo, awake and talking to Leckren on a Global.  The ship woke him up, he fought the Urod so was frozen.  Lobo operates the shuttle controls, he's been to the station before.  He was a detective hired by Leckren, they are worried about the presence of the Jaridians here.  Lobo was given an experimental CVI which makes him love the Taelons but he'll only live a few years, when it is perfected everyone on Earth will have one.  Lobo needs Ester as mental bait to trap the Urod.  Lobo steals his gun back, Jubal flees.  The glass woman was Lobo's secretary, used as Urod bait.  Jubal rips off Ester's skeen and takes her to the shuttle.  Leckren and Lobo fail attacking the Urod and there's a big blast- suddenly Jubal and Ester are back at Simeon...  (p.200)  Jubal thinks the Urod re-adapted so it and they returned in its wake to Earth.  Va'Lon tells Doors 3 more Taelons will come including Da'an.  Jubal says any air machine nearby will awake the Urod, the Taelons came in '36 because they knew it might be changing hands soon.  He concludes the Taelons need Earth desperately for something.  Amanda arrives w/ skeen.  Joshua often has fights w/ Doors, there have been mass suicides.  Va'Lon tells Doors bout Urod, Doors refuses to sell Simeon but agrees to let them capture the Urod, there is small chance of danger.  Va'Lon says the Urod was found and worshipped in Eygpt then sold to Wright here.  Va'Lon says it can teleport vast distances, mentions the failed '36 attack.  The Taelons bring 3 large tanks which surround the Urod.  Doors fears Amanda might be the next bait for Urod, they suggest she go with the Urod to the hospital.  (p.250)  Doors introduced to Da'an briefly.  A Shuttle lands and loads the Urod in pseudo-ice.  Shelby and his militia besieges the house, security fights them, radios jammed.  Va'Lon arrives demanding Amanda come w/ them, Doors hides her rips off sken.  The militia is confused perhaps by Urod, the Shuttle is not damaged by a rocket.  Police are called.  Doors fights off two men inc. Shelby, they thought Doors was held hostage by Taelons.  Amanda is killed in the crossfire.  The Taelon Shuttle leaves.  Doors kills Shelby, police arrive, Jubal gone.  Taelons later return his body, said he had a heart attack.  Doors tells Joshua the Taelons are not to blame.  Doors publically supports Da'an but secretly begins planning a secret army and even his death.

Pelleon fails testing cloak & computer targeter, prepares to surrender to NR.  Han & Luke go to planet for negotiations on trade, one party refuses Luke’s presence Han acts strange.  Fight off pirate attack, one ship had clones aboard.  Han sez some people fear Luke headed for dark side with his powers, Luke gets vision of Emperor/Kun in battle doesn’t use powers feels better.  Leia on Wayland w/ kids and Noghri, guy tries to flee with stolen datacards, one says Hand of Thrawn.  Karrde & Mara arrive capture him, claims to be working for Karrde let him go.  Pelleon announces surrender to Moffs, Disra plans something big, recruits hidden Royal Guard aide Tierce as tactical mind, has actor Flim perfectly playing Thrawn to lead Empire to victory, working with big pirate organization to destabilize NR and get good ships.  Also recollecting all of Thrawn’s clones in hiding or lent to pirates for offensive.  True card reveals Bothans behind early Palapatine massacre, secret will soon get out Leia tells Fey’la.  Smugglers capture datacard guy.  Disra recruits Destroyers for NR attack tests Thrawn act.  Wedge & Lando find old Imperial spy on planet.  ///  (p100) Pelleon’s delegation to Bel Ibis is jammed and destroyed by Disra, useless signal gotten by Lando.  NR told bout Caamus, Caamus survivors tell Leia they don’t want vengence.  Han recruits Karrde to track pirate clones.  3 cloaked Destroyers follow comet trail to their target under Thrawn’s orders.  Luke infiltrates pirate asteroid base, found out almost suffocated in Jedi trap, rescued by Mara.  Alien ship watches them, flees.  Imperial infiltrators spark anti-Bothan riot.  NR petition to fine Bothans for new Caamus world Fey’la tells Leia Pressy that they’ve faked financial records are in debt.  Disra Tierce need to alter Caamus records at Yaga Minor, Tierce to go the Yaga leader is w/ Pelleon.  Pirate leader complains to Disra bout Luke, Tierce has pirates hired to attack Pelleon while waiting for Bel Ibis for peace meet.  Karrde visits Booster an info trader/smuggler lives on abandoned Star Destroyer, son-in-law Corran Horn there looking into Empire being behind riots.  Karrde asks for pirates and clones, no knowledge.  Alien ship buzzes Mara there again, sent communication to Destroyer including Thrawn’s real name then left.  Mara tracks it to Rim world, leave to investigate.  Shada, working for Massic smuggler, intercepted by  Karoly of her Mistral sez she’s being recalled.  Shada breaks off and saves Massic, exiled.  Luke has vision of future, sees Han Leia in riot, Mara dead, himself in canyon world goes there.  Han Leia visit Bothan homeworld check records, Imperials spark riot there Han framed for shooting at crowd by Imperials they know it.  Mara visits Rim world alone, meets unintelligble aliens who steal her ship she knocks herself out. ////  (p260) Lando rescues pro-Bothan ambassador from mob.  Luke runs into Karrde asks bout failed clone investigation Luke goes to rescue Mara.  Rogue Sqad & Bel Ibis break up alien fleet attacking Bothan homeward using smuggling excuse.  Lando and ambassador caught by Imperials meet Thrawn then released, Thrawn offers to mediate Caamus conflict by finding guilty Bothans by interviewing Bothan leaders.  NR very distressed bout Thrawn, Leia and Lando under suspicion.  Shada, a secret now exiled warrior, breaks through Noghri security to meet Leia et al, joins Karrde to meet old information guy who may not bout Caamus Document.  Lando convinced Karrde of this.  Clone colony on NR world gets activation signal, Han Leia decide to vacation there get out of limelight.  Another alien fleet at Bothan homeworld does kill some in orbit.  Pelleon goes to scheduled meet with Bel Ibis attacked by Disra’s pirates, defeats them and realizes this.

Vision of the Future (Hand of Thrawn Book Two)
Cloaked Destroyers continue to watch Bothan homeworld waiting for moment to strike. Thrawn accepts NR group joining Empire, Disra investigating Hand of Thrawn.  Luke goes to Rim world, young winged animal takes him to where Mara is held.  Ackbar sends Bel Ibis to prep strike to Imperial stronghold for Caamus Document, Wedge and Corran Horn go down to Both world to stop ‘Vengence’ sabotauers destroying planet shield.  Imperial insitgators go there.  Karrde and Shada meet big warlord, old favor from Mara and Lando saving his life gets free passage.  Karrde tells Shada that he stole something really precious from info guy.  Clone sleeper cell on farm world ordered to attack Han Leia.  Pelleon learns of Thrawn’s appearance, heads to Bastion to question Disra bout it.  ///  (p85)  Luke ‘rescues’ Mara they go to High Citadel of the ‘Threateners’ with some flyers, kid’s people were supposed to fly to give Luke message for help but didn’t.  Han Leia attacked by pirates saved by clone sleeper cell who want to work the farm not work for Thrawn, Han goes with them to Bastion to get Caamus info Leia called away by Bel Ibis.  Han recruits Lando and Lobot, Karoly listens in to find Shada follows Lando.  Trio’s Destroyer attacked by Dimala force old Thrawn tactic scares them off they were trying to prove Thrawn alive, Disra makes Tierce tell Flim bout Hand of Thrawn.  Luke Mara climb mountain get past sentry creature chamber, bond over her ignored Jedi abilities wonder bout Hand of Thrawn, his species a protogee?  Wedge Corran meet Karrde woman on Bothwai also watching shield generator, Imperial moles aware of them by pick pocters.  Leia goes to meet Ibis instead Caamus leader and Ghent who decoded Imperial peace couldn’t contact Ibis, they all go to meet Pelleon where he is waiting in Falcon.  Karrde fights off ship ambush, officials warn him bout local pirate beats ambush.  Karrde tells Shada his past w/ Car’das who owned smuggling gang but kidnapped by Dark Jedi during Clone Wars when returns became angry, precognative, aging fast.  Disappears eventually Karrde takes over gang fights off few coups who claim Car’das was responsible always feared Card’as.  Had Lando Mara track him down when learned Luke found his ship call on Degobah to planet but not enter it, Karrde expects to die but hopes Shada will survive to take Caamus Doc back.  ///  (p.210, 2wks later)  Luke Mara take tunnel to Fortress meet lightsaber proof wall & swarm of locusts.  Mara tells Luke he’s always done things with dark side by using powers so much, his Acadamy was taught this way, that’s why Mara and Corran didn’t stay, Mara doesn’t fall b/c she acted selfishly in serving Emperor.  Han Lando  get Bastion location when Imperial clones contact Imperials bout attack being stopped by alien vessals then send probe to Bastion.  Bel Iblis recruits Booster’s Destroyer to lead Yaga Minor raid.   Luke Mara sneak into Tower by winges’ secret stairway, Thrawn-race aliens attack they flee Mara hurt Luke heals her kisses her unconscious.  Wedge Corran Karrde gal find Imp’s tranmissions must check businesses, Imps spot Wedge Corran, cloaked Destroyers get delay signal.  Leia meets Pelleon w/ Caamus leader Ghent.  Pelleon learns how his message was intercepted, offers peace treaty for peaceful co-existance.  They talk Thrawn’s return Pelleon not sure offers Caamus Doc if they can slice it out of Yaga Minor, Ghent agrees to go alone.  Leia fears Thrawn’s genius, Pelleon leaves for Bastion to meet Disra.  (p.295) Bastion:  Han Lando Lobot checking Imp records, Karoly stalking them.  Imp Trio finds alien ship is Hand of Thrawn/Parck Flim fears their wrath, find false info thus spies on Bastion call search then Thrawn appearance, Pelleon arrives.  Karoly spots pirate leader follows him into Imp HQ to secret Disra quarters.  Han Co spotted on streets start casino riot slip away.  Pelleon accuses Disra of pirates money scam, left alone steals Disra’s secret files.  Han Lando identified, Flim realizes their info search locates the inferface, Han Co use droid shop to jam it.  Imp Trio meet pirates in secret quarters offer new deal pirates start fight all killed Karoly helps Imps.  Pirate XO plotted this to kill leader take over, Flim offers alliance to Mystral.  Disra finds theft, Pelleon jamming prison to free his aide.  Han Co met at their ship by Thrawn who offers Caamus Doc says Fey’la has private army lets them go.  Karrde finds Car’das on small planet a sick forgotten man, planet comes under attack by pirates Karrde going to fight.  Bel Iblis tells Booster plan to take his SD into shipyard hack into library then run.  Wedge Corran Karrde gal visit shops inc. Imps’ as they get call from shield generator called in to kill rare insect manifestation, secretly squirt food stuff into computers.  Wedge Corran recalled by Bel Iblis.  (p. 400)  Luke Mara realize she was being drawed here, Mara tells Luke she was never w/ Lando it was a ruse for Car’das search.  Luke Mara break into Tower find holomap of galaxy including vast Unknown Regions, Mara realizes Emp sent Thrawn out to scout these regions and establish Imperial garrisons, 30X current Empire.  Mara goes alone to meet them, Luke senses her meet them then disapeer.  Mara meets Adm Parck, who found Thrawn his old XO and the Chiss, Thrawn’s people.  50yrs ago some Jedi came through on exploration, Palpatine sent troops to kill them but ran into Thrawn who slaughtered them, a Palpatine aide recruited Thrawn who killed the Jedi leading to his exile on a planet where Parck recruited him.  Thrawn returned to protect his people from hundreds of dark threats that come from the Unknown and set up these people; if he died he said he would return in 10yrs, tell her bout the rumors.  They made a pass on Bastion which Thrawn left a tracer on.  Baron Fel ace TIE pilot arrives, Mara realizes she’s under ysalamiri they want her to join them for info, they’re deciding which side to join Emp or NR.  Thrawn had an early post-Emp warlord abduct Fel then showed him the truth.  Even with Thrawn leading all forces victory is not certain so clone sleeper cells were created across Emp & NR to lead resistance if Bastion & Coruscant fall.  They decide to wound Luke Mara forcing them in meditation when Luke attacks.  Earlier Luke fighting ysala carrying Chiss, flees w/ Mara from Chiss escapes in alien ship disabling rest, see Tower is shape of the Hand of Thrawn.  Mara says they aren’t the enemy, something terrible is out there.  (p.470)  Imps sneak in Karrde gal’s ship to kill her she spooks em off knows they’re pet shop owners.  Han heads for Bothawai tells Leia he has Caamus Doc but later find it faked.  Imp Trio saw Hand of Thrawn pass on Bastion, Tierce says they will want to meet, find out Bel Iblis disapeered head for Yaga Minor w/ Mystral leader where he will attack.  Tierce plans to acquire Hand of Thrawn.  Pelleon springs aide from prison.  Karrde battle ends when Aing’Tii Monks appear w/ adv ships destroy pirates.  Karrde meets Car’das in his real palace where info library is no Caamus Doc though.  Car’das tells tale, the Dark Jedi took him to Dagobah where he fought Yoda in big battle, after Yoda healed Car’das.  Car’das got some power but soon fell apart, returned threatening Yoda who told him his problems w/ life then sent him to Aing-Tii cause he had to prepare for Luke most important thing in 100yrs.  Aiing are like Jedi w/ Force, in return he devoted his life to their studies had small power.  Leia arrives at Bothwai disables Falcon to stop conflict to assist her, tells Pressy bout peace offer fear Thrawn tactic kept quiet.  Shada looks for info on Mystral Car’das tells her they were conquerors defeated by their prey, she chooses other info over Mystral history, Karrde going to take the info somewhere.  (p. 545)  Mara uses her ship to crash into Tower hanger destroying their ships stranding them.  Luke Mara to sneak in Tower another way.  Pelleon following Thrawn to Yaga Minor alien ship meets for contact.  Han Lando arrive at Bothwai tell Leia bout fake Caamus, Imp clones there tell Han Imperials are hiding in fleet.  Bel Iblis strike going in pretending to be SD cloaked off Bothwai.  Karrde gal burglarizes Imp pet shop, they kill go to spot start fire.  Bel Iblis arrives Yaga Minor as Imp Trio recruiting Mystral leader, they catch SD in tractor.  Imp spies blow open tube to shield generator send in lizards w/ bombs who go after food disabling shield generator.  Imp spies sneak on Leia’s ship take over turbolazer hitting unshielded surface battle begins.  Thrawn calls Bel Iblis asking surrender, he shoots tractors.  Han Imp clones track Imp ships into cloaked SD caught.  Luke Mara find a Thrawn clone in hidden chamber debate on brining him back.  Droids attack them.  Lando on other ship gets talk to Leia she goes to cloaked SD.  Karrde arrives at Yaga Minor sneaks through defenses NR follows through.  Luke Mara trapped share souls create flooding to defeat droids trapped.  Luke proposes to Mara who accepts!  Leia hijacks her ship w/ powers to investigate cloaked SD Pressy defends her actions.  Imp clones free Han from cloaked SD, it decloaks as NR forces turn on them but outnumbered.  Han calls in Fey’la’s secret army which turns tide Imps retreat.  Pelleon sneaks on Thrawn SD, ids Flim and Tierce as super-clone w/ Thrawn intellect, Tierce has been controlling Disra all along to his actions.  Tierce snaps killed by Mystral, Pelleon stops battle.  Karrde there supplied info, gets Mystral to ease off Shada, makes offer to Pelleon.  Luke Mara escape planet w/ Caamus Doc from Thrawn’s files…  peace treaty signed, joint intel service led by Karrde Shada on both NR and Emp.  Luke Mara talk bout private training of Jedi students, acadamy only a pre-school.  Their future in Unknown Regions decide to leave Hand of Thrawn alone since they didn’t contact Bastion.
