Author's note: This story takes place sometime after Graduation. Faith never was bad, but the ascension still went down. And umm somehow the school is still there...don't ask 'cause I don't know.

Part Two

Willow got up slowly. She rubbed her head and opened her eyes. "Buffy!" she shrieked. There were two Buffy's, both unconscious.

She crawled over the Buffy that had sat across from her. Willow put her hands on Buffy's side and shook her. "Buffy!" she said loudly as she shook her.

Buffy stirred. She let out a moan before opening up her eyes. "Will? What happened?" Buffy sat up slowly.

"I-I don't know, but look," Willow pointed towards beside her bed where the other Buffy laid.

Buffy's eyes got wide. "Okay, why are there two of me?"

"I must of messed up or something. Said something wrong, translated it wrong, something."

"What do we do with me? Is she alive?" Buffy asked concerned.

Willow was still shocked, she didn't even check if the other was still alive. "I don't know." She went over to the other Buffy and gently shook her.

The other Buffy woke up and smiled.

"Will, get away."

Willow heard her too late as the girl wrapped her hands around her neck. Willow tried pulling her hands off with her own, but Buffy's grip was too strong. "Buffy," she managed to get out.

Buffy punched the other Buffy in the face. Her hands let go of Willow and fell back. Buffy punched her again, this time knocking her unconscious.

Buffy turned to Willow. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. A little shaken up." Her hands we rubbing her throat.

"Me too." Buffy turned to the other Buffy.

"What do we do with her?" Buffy heard Willow ask.

"You've got some rope, right?"

"Yeah."

"I'm going to need some."

Willow moved to her closet and opened up a box. She pulled out two long strings of rope. She moved back to Buffy and handed her the rope. "Here."

Buffy grabbed one. She put the other Buffy's hands behind her back and tied the rope around them. Buffy tied them tight, she was sure they were going to leave bruises. She then did the same to her ankles.

"Well, let's get her to Giles. He'll know what to do." Buffy said. "For now, we'll call her Rachel. I'm not going to have everyone saying my name."

Willow smiled. "I understand. How do we tell you two apart?"

Buffy turned to Willow and smiled. "For one thing, I'm not tied up. And for another, I'm not going to have a black eye or bruised cheek."

Buffy and Willow took Rachel to the library.

"Giles, how did this happen?" Willow asked as she stared at Rachel in the book cage. She was still unconscious.

Giles took off his glasses and cleaned the lens. "I don't know. The wrong translation, miss pronounced word, maybe that wasn't even the right spell." He put his glasses back on. "Willow, you said she attacked you?" he turned to face

her.Willow walked away from the cage at the memory. She clutched her shoulders with her hands. "Yes, but Buffy saved me."

"It's me, but not me. Like an evil side or something," Buffy said. She sat in a chair near the cage, watching for any sign of awaking out of Rachel.

Willow held a worried look on her face. "What are we going to do?"

Giles put back on his glasses and walked in the stacks. He walked to a table and set several books that he had taken out. "Research," he replied.

"Did I hear research?" Xander quipped as he walked in the library.

"Hey, Xander," Buffy and Willow greeted him at the same

time."So, what big bad meanie has come to haunt us this time?" Xander went to the table. On his way, he glanced at the cage. "Whoa," he remarked. He rubbed his eyes. "For a minute there, I thought that I saw two Buffy's." After getting no reply and looks from everyone, he looked back at the cage. After staring at Rachel for a few minutes, he turned to Giles and asked, "What's going on here?"

"Willow cast a spell and ended up cloning Buffy," Giles answered. He handed a book to Buffy, Willow, and Xander. The Watcher flipped through several pages before stopping at

one.Xander just held the book in his hand as Buffy and Willow searched through their books.

"Except that she's evil," Buffy said. "And her name is Rachel so no one can confuse me with her."

"How do we tell you two apart?" Xander asked.

"For one, she's in there, I'm here. And for another, she has a black eye and a bruised cheek."

"Oh," Xander said. "So, research. What are we looking

for?"Giles looked up. "Anything dealing with twins," he said. "I'm not really sure until we find something

close."Xander started on his book, carefully looking over the first pages.

"We're having someone watch her all the time, right?" Willow asked worriedly.

Buffy looked at her scared friend. "Don't worry, Willow. We'll have someone watch her twenty-four seven. Faith and I can watch her most of the time."

Faith sat on the table facing the cage. She had her headphones on to block out any attempts of talking made by Rachel. A thick book sat in her lap as she flipped through

it.The Slayer glanced over at Rachel. She sat on some books, staring back at Faith. Faith got up and put laid the book open on the table. She had been here for a few hours, but she had to go. She left quickly, but not before giving Rachel another glare.

Once Faith left, Rachel stood up and eyed the window that was in there. She knew the strength that she held, but she didn't know if she could jump that high. She took the books that she sat on and brought them over to the window. Shoving them against the wall, she climbed up on them. She found the latch with ease and undid it, pushing the window out.

Rachel looked around nervously. She listened to hear any signs of Faith coming back. She knew that this Slayer could as well beat her up. Hearing nothing, she grabbed the window sill and pulled herself out of the library.
