The Bio-Patch is the latest in battlefield medical equipment brings you the security in knowing that even if you aren't skilled in paramedics or first aid your medical equiment is.
The Bio-Patch is a small biogenetic device that is programmed to respond to wounds when it's sensor organs detect them. It immediately attacthes itself to the woundee and creates a bacteria seal over the wound whilst allowing it to breathe (the Bio-Patch acts as a filter). The device then administers basic bullet removal, wound stiching and cleaning, cleansing and minor organ and tissue repair.
The Bio-Patch is designed to recognise a wound and treat it accordingly. The Bio-Patch will administer it's own drugs, perform it's own (minor) surgery and help to keep you on your feet even if you've never even watched Hospital Mort.
The success rate for the Bio-Patch is an incredible 95% and every operative should keep one at hand for those emergencies that they just can't deal with.
The Bio-Patch comes in a handy to use application sheath that is easy tear and it's non-slip packaging and skin means easy application whatever your condition.
Once attatched it will stop bleeding in 2 phases and will repair the wounded area at a rate of 1hp every 10 seconds. The Bio-Patch can be given access to kick start and other medical drugs in which case it will administer these first. It has a storage capacity of 3 shots worth. Once it has attached itself (using a biological adhesive) it will not let go but can be removed by spraying a solvent around the lip which will allow the Bio-Patch to be removed should it be neccessary (sprays are 5C and have enough for 5 doses).
The Operative simply places the Bio-Patch over any open wound and it will first seal the wonded area (after it disposes of all non-bio material) and and then give painkillers and bullet removal whilst knitting the wound back together. Each Bio-Patch has enough resources to heal 5 hit points before it will need to be re-fed with a food pellet. Each Bio-Patch will need 1 pellet / week for it's own well being.
