As you push the door open, you find yourself in a long corridor of somber grey stone. Nothing grows through the crevices as it had in the earlier maze...mainly because the walls are covered in... knitting?! Yes, bright red, blue and yellow socks cover tree branches, the walls even are covered with the cheery colours!
Congrats! Looks like you passed the test! Well that wasn't hard...they ought to work a little more on the challenge part. You laugh to yourself, taking off down the corridor at a leisurely pace.
From out of nowhere a small furry creature, virtually bound up in knitting from head to toe appears. Spines of electric blue fur stand out from beneath its tightly wound garb. In its two fingered paw rests the gleaming point of a two foot long needle. The needle is threads with the same kindergartenish red yarn that adorns the surroundings. Wordlessly it begins to sew back together the little rip in your trousers.
Wow! What a nice goblin. You had no idea there WERE any of those! You reach down to pat the little thing in gratitude only to wince in pain as the needle pierces your skin. With a growl you kick the beastie, sending it skittering across the knitted floor to hit a padded wall. Chittering in aggravation it scampers out of reach and out of sight.
Bratish thing! Well, maybe you overeacted... he probably didn't mean it...
Your sentiments change IMMEDIATELY as a wave of the tiny lightning blue goblins hop from the walls, pushing through the gaps in the knitting brandishing their own shiningly pointed needles.
Let's not go into the gory details... suffice the say you're dead. (but nicely crocheted however.)
