Yavin is a red-colored gas giant. The fourth moon of the yavin system was the location of the Rebel Fortress during the days of the rebelion. It is a moon covered with thick jungle.
The Maisassi Temple was the location of their base. It is an immense structure built by an ancient race. Being that it was hidden beneath the jungle, the temple was a perfect place for the rebels to coordinate their efforts. Unfortunately, after the battle of yavin, the rebels had to flee from Yavin Four and relocate to the Hoth system.
