Perceptions of Me

I came here Melissa, because of a brilliant entry left in anothers' guestbook consisting merely of faces and no words.

I'm sure you get sick of mindless GB entries as much as the rest of us do. I was impressed by some of the site. The husband page was very funny and unexpected. It is apparent that you also have a little psychology experience. I do, however, see a bit of hostility and possibly evidence of low self-esteem. It seems you think you have to prove yourself. For example: It is obvious that you are well-read, yet you took the time to list just about every piece of paper ever gazed upon by your eyes. You have a p ge dedicated exclusively to what others' think of you. I also perceived some of your dreams as your struggle to remain in control of things and people. The Arsenio Hall dream was hilarious. The computer class dream could be a perfect example of your st uggle to do what you think is right(helping the teacher) and appeasing your peers (following them out of the room).

Your views on monogamy, that it is bad, is intriguing. Is it the fear that the person you are with will leave you, so you are not willing to accept that you could be hurt by monogamy causing that view? Many I know that support polygimous relationships h ve been hurt in the past, and are not willing to try to look for what they really want(a mutual caring, monogomous relationship), so they give up and say "People will leave me anyways, so why not see many and minimize the risk?

I am not trying to pick o you. I usually do not write entries of this nature, but then most websites are rather shallow and boring. You page is fascinating. Your dreams really make me laugh, but conversely, there are some things and issues on the site I disagree with you on. Y ur father is very important to you, not only what he thinks of you but what he does. I think that has influenced many of your behaviors. Well, thats what I think. Do with it what you will.

Melissa. She has long blonde hair. And she is very smart. I mean, she majored in physics. What does that tell you? And she passed!! Melissa is one of the rare breeds of humans that understand my sense of humor and I understand hers. Other people just say--HUH? Melissa is weird too. (so am I)
