Welcome to my page!

Let me first introduced myself. I'm Laurana ;) and I'm from Portugal, in Europe and since my early years I´ve had a passion about Science Fiction. While other children were reading comic books and adventure novels, I was reading Isack Azimov and E.E. "Doc" Smith´s books. Then I discovered Robert A. Heinlein and Anne McCaffrey, who become my favorite authors.

But in 1988 I found the Fantasy World that I immediately fell in love with...The Dragonlance Chronicles. Unfortunately, only 6 books were published in my own language.I managed to find 2 more in English but I knew that there were more so I had to find a way to get all the books.

Eight years after I found my source: the Internet and through it I found out that thousands (who knows, maybe millions) of people shared my passion. That´s why I´ve started this page. So I can share with you all my ideas and maybe, introduce the Dragonlance world to someone who doesn´t know it. I hope you´ll have as much pleasure in reading these pages as I had in doing them...and please, forgive my english mistakes!

I chose to titled this page "Laurana´s..." because I think that Laurana is the most sweet and sensible (and also sensitive!) character in the DL World.

I've added a new page about my other passion (yes, I'm full of passions! ;)) "The Cronicles of Pern", written by Anne McCafrey, a Sci-Fi world, Pern ,where dragons are the survival basis of human kind. I hope you enjoy it and you can mail me with all sort f sugestions, pics, corrections, etc! Ah, and don't forget to sign my guestbook...

Now last, but not the least, I have to thank my dearest, dearest friend Melissa Gruennhagen for her kind, helping and patient help when I began to do this site.
