USS ATHENE
The Athene has arrived at the portal and joined the massing battle
fleet.

USS KATANA
The Katana has been ordered to the Portal sector to assist against the
advancing Klingon fleet. Captain Ra remains in the Katana's sickbay, in
a comatose state. Dr. Bra'an and Dr. Thamen were able to stabilize her
condition, but nothing more. LtCmdr Lacey Sherman, has been recalled to
Starbase Omega to take command of the USS CAMELOT, so command of the
Katana has fallen onto Thelek for the time being. He has received a
battlefield promotion to the rank of CMDR. Engineer Tokath has been
chosen to be his XO, and was field promoted to the rank of LTCMDR.
Ensign Kitru Aldatan, was also promoted to LT.

USS PHOENIX
The USS PHOENIX has been recalled back to the Cocoon's Portal to help in
defence of the cocoon. The shakedown cruise has been placed on hold and
repairs and testing is being done whilst in flight. There has been cause
for celebration though with Ensign Johnathan Bondy and Ensign Micheal
Heward have both been promoted to Lt 's.

USS XERXES
Captain Careth Broll, was attacked at the Golden Orb bar on Starbase
Omega, prior to the XERXES' departure. The attacker was a Naussican,
and is believed to be an assassin working for the Klingon empire. As a
result, Careth was hospitalized on the Starbase, and will not be
accompanying the ship on her next mission. LTCMDR Lex has been given
temporary command of the XERXES, until such time as Careth can make a
full recovery. Lt. Norda, a Starfleet combat advisor, has joined the
crew for this mission. She is a tactical combat expert and it is hoped
she augment LTCMDR Lex's lack of experience.

DS 101
DS 101, the station itself, has appearantly taken on a life
of its own. It has rejected all of the federation repairs
to its hull, opening parts of the station to space, as it
grows an organic hull -- or perhaps regrows.
The station has been evacuated. Most of the crew of DS 101
are on the HIKARU, with the overflow on the CURIE -- DS
101's CO, FO, and 2O/CSO remain to try and save the last
civilain aboard and find out what is happening to the
station.
About 100 people, mostly civilians, were killed on shuttles,
pleasure cruisers, or runabouts by the station. There were
also casualties on a Hetgarot frieghter that was the last
one loading.
Observations from the USS CURIE reported that the station
fired on the nebula and the Nebula fired back. All ships
were ordered by the CURIE CO, highest ranking officer in
comm range, to evacuate the area. The ships did so, while
Galia Bitzalel, FO of the CURIE said that the CURIE would
have to return, as they were needed to aid the station.
T'Sara, former SF officer turned bookstore owner, offered
to lead the 2/3 of the civies on the Curie that could not be
squezzed on freighters to M'Sagro three. The offer was
accepted and the group is on their way.
Meanwhile, the command crew of DS 101 are cut off from
outside communications, but are making discoveries about the
nature of the changes in the station.

Intelligence Report for Cocoon Fleet - Commander Sellush
A freighter was attacked recently by an unknown entity.
Deep Space 101 is investigating the incident.
A ceasefire has been established with the Na'Chem. The Juun response
has been unexpectedly reserved.
Talks have resolved the recent 'pirate' problems in the Irimida Sector
Klingon Situation Report for Starfleet - Commander Inhoff:
Communications between the Federation and The Cocoon have been
terminated by a Klingon task force striking from an unknown base.
Reports and communications to the Federation are currently being
carried by escort vessels to the vital conveys that supply the Cocoon.
Rumours of a Klingon attack on The Cocoon are circulating within
the Federation. The tenth fleet is being sent to provide backup
should the rumours be true.
A communication from an unknown reliable source has provided
The Cocoon Fleet with more solid information and a defense fleet
is massing at SB OMEGA to repel the Klingon assault.
The USS HORIZON is leading a task force of 12 starships, including
the USS GRYPHON in a pre-emptive strike against the 600+ strong
Klingon assault fleet.
SFSec continue to investigate the apparent assasination of the Klingon
Ambassador on Arkanis by the former CinC of Starfleet, who was killed
later by the Klingons.
The USS SAGAN is currently on it's way to retreive the SFSec team and
complete the mission in hopes of stopping the Klingon assault on
The Cocoon.
