USS ATHENE
The ATHENE hosts a formal launch party to christen the new TRYFAN
class ship. The party features the Squadron Commander of Beaver, J.M.
Power and the Personnel Officer Fergal McKewan. It also features the
first social outing of the freshly wedded Av'ern and Av'elona who is
tapping Counsellor Hote's brain to try and figure out her husband.
The Party is barely finished when Thomas Kelen, formerly of the USS
CURIE arrives onboard for an inspection tour. His rude manner manage
to
annoy both the CEO and the CO.

The USS YEAGER has said goodbye to ANtonio Leeds who left to Captain
his
own ship. And is now awaiting crew.

USS HORIZON
The USS HORIZON meets discreetly with a MELBOURNE class cargo carrier,
in
the Loloya system. The exchange of the HORIZON's mission pods begins.
As Lt. Hamelin begins planning to create a device to find the psychic
presence of Lt. Malaar, the Moropa FCO becomes increasingly
frustrated
at his non-corporal state, trying his best to get the attention of
various
crew members, generally to very little result. Eventually he attracts
the
empathic attention of Lt. Cannon, and through a joint psychic and
technological effort, the free-floating ghost version of Malaar is
reintegrated into his physical body.
The meeting of senior staff continues, with Lt. Cmdr. Tergin
presenting Lt.
Hamelin and Lt. Malaar with the Distinguished Service Medal; a
small
reward for saving the galaxy from ultimate destruction.
Continuing, the HORIZON's current mission is outlined. Not entirely
comfortable with his orders, Tergin outlines his plan for the HORIZON
to
initiate a blockade of SB OMEGA. Jamming transporters and
communications,
and to open fire on any ship attempting to stop them. Plans for the
operation, including the theft of a SUN DANCER class ship are laid
out, but
Lt. Suven interrupts, unhappy with the unfeasibility of the HORIZON
alone
being able to maintain the blockade.
Lt. Suven outlines an alternate plan, more covert in nature. The
HORIZON
crew is now involved in an elaborate process of scanning SB OMEGA, the
surrounding ships, and communications.
Also, Hamalin and Malaar are to be dispatched in a runabout before the
HORIZON's arrival at OMEGA, for the purpose of tampering with an
automated
relay station. Ultimately this will channel communications to the
HORIZON.
Even though the staff, and in particular Lt. Hamelin feel
uncomfortable, and
even suspicious of the nature of the current mission, they proceed,
albeit
cautiously.
After the briefing, in an attempt to gain the trust of Lt. Hamelin,
Lt.
Suven offers to mind meld with the CSciO. Lt. Hamelin is unsure, to
say the
least, but agrees, if only in the name of scientific analysis. The
meld is
an intense experience for both participants, ending with Hamelin, if
not
entirely convinced of Suven's earnestness, at least willing to take a
chance. Hamelin is called away, to proceed with his assigned mission
before
the matter can be further discussed.
Meanwhile, the powers that be, back at OMEGA are becoming increasingly
suspicious of the HORIZON, and it's activities. Lt. Cmdr. Tergin is
contacted by the new Squadron Commander, Commodore Power, curious
about the
latest discrepancies around the HORIZON.

USS KATANA
The KATANA comes through the booby-trapped asteroids
without a scratch, and the slaver’s assault shuttle
in point-blank range. The shuttle is swiftly reduced
to a burning hulk and the KATANA begins back-tracking
its flight path to find Mossara’s base.
The base finds its asteroid-based sensor arrays
destroyed and switches over to those just outside the
base in time to find the KATANA on its very doorstep.
The KATANA pummels the base, causing intermittant then
emergency-only power, and transports down an away team to
rescue the Federation citizens in the slavers' power.
Mossara’s folk attempt to shred the attacking Federation
vessel with their tractor beams and Ensign Krwn responds
by activating emitters which attract an ablative coat to
deflect nearly all the beams’ power. As the undeflected
portion wreaks mischief inside the ship, Krwn proposes
to the captain that they destroy the asteroids housing
the tractor emitters.

USS PHOENIX
Capt. Mortimer leaves the ship, after his assessment of the situation.
He
reveals only to Cmdr. Hiraus that he is indeed from the future, as the
temporal displacement found by the medical examination showed.
However, the
situation moves out of the scope of the PHOENIX along with Mortimer's
ship.
Reestablishing their course, the PHOENIX makes a rendezvous with a
hidden
RANGER class ship, the PATHFINDER, commanded by Cmdr. Callie Lazar,
after
the death of her last CO. She informs the crew of the PATHFINDER's
situation, and requests assistance. She also transports to the
PHOENIX, for
a briefing with Cmdr. Hiraus.
As the PHOENIX prepares to provide assistance to the PATHFINDER, CEO
Marcus
Vell, previously called away from duty because of family obligations,
returns!

USS COCHRANE
The USS COCHRANE, tailed covertly by Doyle, arrives at the portal to
find it unguarded. The USS AVITAR, formerly on portal duty, was caught
escorting Jem'Hadar fighters into the Cocoon. Ryan Trask, attempting
to
escape undetected from the Cocoon, shot down two fighters and the
COCHRANE made short work of the rest. The AVITAR has been discovered
to
have a shapeshifter taking the place of Captain Tulvek, the AVITAR's
CO.

DS 101
A new CSciO arrives, Lt McPherson. After John Robert's
unauthorised
solo trip narrowly avoids disaster, Alyza forces him into a
Holosimulation in an attempt to teach him the importance of team work.
Morwenna takes advantage of Poppy's sleepover, dressed to kill she
awaits her date with Grayson. Surely nothing can go wrong THIS time?
The crew from the CURIE are still stuck inside the malfunctioning
holosuite 2. They seem to have solved the immediate danger but can
they
get out before it throws something worse at them?

USS CURIE
Most of the crew remain trapped in the holodeck. It has been
discovered that two sims were running simultaneously. The
characters were then created causing the skies to be full of
everything from Mafia members to dragons and flying batmen.
Meanwhile, Perigrin has been placed in charge of the CURIE as
Galia seeks out Tinkerbell for another counselling session.

USS DURHAM
The USS DURHAM has received its orders and is awaiting mission
briefing before leaving for the Renrael sector.
After the inspection tour of the DURHAM's engines by the CO and FO the
crew settled down to await orders. The quiet punctuated only by a
drill
simulating Dominion attack put together by the FO and the CSO.

Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report:

A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun
have
made no official comment. Several Officials sacked from the Juun
government following the exposure of genocide committed against the
Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war
with
the Na'Chem. Starfleet is investigating these allegations of Genocide
against the Na'Chem heavily which may threaten the Juun's position in
the
Federation. Starfleet Intelligence Officers are on the scene and
investigating the reports of Romulan influence in the matter.
A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the
ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids
against
the Juun.
An area of space being dubbed the ‘Bermuda Triangle' has left Several
Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate.
Amgine Sector Report:

Deep Space 101 has returned to it's previous location. The exact
circumstances of it's disappearance have been divulged to Cocoon Fleet
Headquarters.
Outpost 108's construction proceeds on schedule, it's support vessel
however has left on a joint mission with the Klingon vessel "Kahless'
Blood".
The USS CURIE has returned from the far end of the Cocoon.
A new HAWKING class ship has arrived to replace the aging FEYNMAN.
Beyond the Portal:

The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation
following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in
the
former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union.
Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer, several of the
Federation's top ambassadors have been sent and recent reports say
that
the Negotiations are nearing an end.
Fleet yards across the Federation are putting in extra effort to bring
the fleets numbers back up to what they were before the war. What
Starfleet lacks now is the personnel to staff those ships. Federation
fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent war. The
eighth fleet, sixth and third fleets are the only fleets so far to
regain
their numbers to what they were before the war.
The wormhole at DS 12 has finally sufficiently stabilized for traffic
to
resume to the Gamma Quadrant.
