The search for remaining Ralvidan crew members in the immobilized
ships
continues. CSO Mercedes McCarter's quick fingers send five of their
erstewhile enemies to Sickbay for treatment when the sensors she is
monitoring pick up their faint lifesigns. Eventually, those aboard the
hamstrung ships will all be transfered to the fighter carrier cum
personnel carrier and they can finally see the back of the
overconfident,
inconsiderate invaders of the system.
Aboardship, a new search may become neccessary since the new CNS,
Ensign
Logaan Woods, experiences a sudden sharp pain in his head when he is
about to leave his office for the day, then experiences a single
recurrence after hauling himself back up into a standing position.
After
asking the computer where his sister is in a sudden flush of concern,
the
moment of agony passes with no real indication of why it occured in
the
first place.

As FCO Phryn appears on two places at the same time, Captain Tergin is
overwhelmed by heavy pains. Both events coincide with the Horizon's
travelling through the wormhole. In the Andromeda galaxy, they are
surprised to find the USS Mauritania. Captain Alderbrite invites CEO
Dariale, her personal friend, to visit her ship. CMO Bill Patton
starts
to figure out a medical explanation for the two Phryns. CSciO Melody
Cuen, who has been recovering from an emotional crises, comes to
sickbay
to seek some company.
Thylassa Korian starts a pursuit of the escaped Captain Diak, who has
been taken aboard by a Federation vessel. However, he smells something
isn't right, and commandeers the vessel. The crew doesn't obey,
though,
as they can't be sure he is no Trasien. As he leaves, the ship's CO
returns to his true (Trasien) identity and contacts Thylassa. They
agree
to play along with Diak for a while, hoping to gain valuable
information
from him.
After No'urdan had shown some concern about his lover's situation, FO
Leyson Ayden pays OPS Blaze Starsinger a visit to see if he's alright.
Suddenly, a high-pitched whine comes over the comm, soon changing
into a
single word that could be identified as an old Trasien word meaning
'bottomless gorge'. Blaze knows more about it than he tells.

Captain Alyza and Ensign Foley continued to be in their own subspace
bubble. In DS 101 Sickbay, where the bodies of Alyza and Foley are
being
monitored, the medical officer notices that Alyza moves her arm a few
centimeters. A few minutes later Alyza regains consciousness. She
seems
confused about her whereabouts...does not remember Foley or that DS
101
is a living station. Shortly afterward Foley awakens in the same
state.
Alyza and Foley's bodies have been taken over by 'others'. The entity
residing in Foley's body has the name of Eronn.
The probe sent into the subspace tunnel was engaged by a tractor beam
and
apparently captured by whatever vessel was in the tunnel. Lt Rommel
and
Ens Goose takes the upgraded shuttle into the tunnel.
Captain Demetrius arrives from SB OMEGA to command the USS CURIE,
attached to DS 101.

USS JOHN GLENN

Against Captain Murphy's orders, CSciO Sydney Martin sends members of
his
science staff in a shuttle to rescue Cochrane survivors from the
Kalith
moon. When Murphy finds out, he assures Martin that he will be dealt
with later. Fortunately for the CSciO, he is needed to help implement
CEO Joshua
Ryan's plan to close the wormhole.
The rescue shuttle finds six survivors, one of which, nearly frozen
and
infested with Talonid happens to be Father Ian MacGregor. Three
Talonid
vessels appear through the wormhole and one of them begins pursuing
the
shuttle while the other two simply wait. Thanks to the 'virtually'
experienced pilot of the shuttle, they manage to evade the Talonid
ship
and trick it into flying into the side of a mountain. They are beamed
back to the JG to minimize shield downtime.
When the other Talonid ships begin scanning Kalith Prime for
lifesigns,
Murphy orders Martin to project false life sign readings from the JG
and,
using themselves as bait, attempt to lure the Talonid back into the
wormhole. The ruse fails, however as one Talonid ship starts chasing
the
abandoned shuttle still on autopilot. They start to close the
wormhole
anyway.
On the other side of the wormhole, a race of aliens has been pursuing
the
Talonid ships and follows them through the wormhole. Once through,
they
begin attacking the two Talonid vessels, displaying both firepower and
hatred for the Talonid that is superior to the JG. Unhappy with the
JG
closing the wormhole before they get back through, they fire on the
JG as
well.

The USS SELEYA, XERXES and ZEUS continue peacekeeping efforts and
patrols
among Na'stiu cells. The Seleya's most recent contact has agreed to a
ceasefire contingent upon other cells agreeing to the same. The Zeus
recently escorted a convoy of Ebmanok freighters through the Na'stiu
tension zone with no incident.
Diplomatic relations with the Juun are still considered to be in 'a
tense
period.' Talks continue with no advancement.
Actions to relegitimize SFIntel continue. The current Fleet
Administration has stabilized, allowing for more investigation into
past
Intel actions. Captain Ardeous Brockman was promoted to Head of
SFIntel
in the Cocoon following the reassignment of Vice-Admiral Elisabeth
Davies.
Several deaths due to shuttle accidents have caused great loss in the
Cocoon area as well as outside the Cocoon. Although there is
currently
no explanation for the sudden increase in shuttle accidents, SFEng and
SFSec are investigating the problem. Among those lost in the Cocoon
area
in the last few weeks are LtCmdr Viviane Taliesen of SB OMEGA, OMEGA
quartermaster Aleta Fehrahr, HORIZON Special Operative 5 of 13 and Lt
Tek, formerly of the USS HERMES. Perhaps the most saddening loss is
that
of former acting Fleet Administrators Admiral Fuschia Tino and
Vice-Admiral Elisabeth Davies, whose shuttle breached as they were
being
transported to their new assignments at SFHQ. These officers will
all be
missed. Memorial Services will be announced to Commanding Officers.

OP108 has completed installation of its orbital docking platform and
commercial and Fleet activity continues to grow in the area. The USS
HORIZON is en route to investigate the nearby wormhole to the
Andromeda
Galaxy. The USS HUDSON, which had disappeared while investigating the
wormhole is still missing.
Peaceful cooperation with races in the Amgine Sector continue to
increase
in the aftermath of the Noo'Ach Peace and Trade Conference.

The Klingon/Federation Officer Exchange Program has shown some success
and plans are in the works to expand the program. The Klingon Empire
and
the Federation have established a non-aggression pact that many
consider
the prelude to a new treaty between the two. Still no official
comments
or noticeable military movement from the Cardassian Union which is
beginning to cause concern over what, if anything, they might be
planning.
Unification talks between Romulan Ambassador Tultia and Vulcan
Ambassador
Skarov on Bajor have met an impasse and ended without success.
Ambassador Skarov made a public statement saying, "The Vulcan people
will
continue to work for peaceful cooperation with our Romulan cousins.
This
is but a first step and trust between us has grown." The Ambassador
did
not comment on any plans for a second meeting.
