FO Miranda Sands is taking a look at her misbehaving replicator when a
unsatisfied CMO Chip catches up to her in her quarters. The new medical
officer, unaware of the extent of her doctor-phobia, insists that she
come down to Sickbay for a follow-up exam so he can be sure her
injuries have healed properly. Miranda answers that Dr. Rogers already
did so, but Chip spots her limp and, at a loss how to press his point
without being insubordinate, simply follows her when she departs for her
office. When Miranda finally asks him in so many words to leave her
alone, he obliges but uses the time to check her file for anything that
would explain such an attitude toward medical personnel. Just a while
after she gets rid of her unwanted visitor, Miranda's fiance, CSciO Jur
Lehron, contacts her to tell her that the knocking in/behind her
replicator is back. She returns to her quarters and does more this time
than simply opening a service panel. This reveals an extra little room,
dominated by a hottub thathas been filled with cowboy boots and hats
which are, in turn, filled with foil-wrapped chocolate coins. Miranda
takes a sample to show the captain (careful to pick out stuff in his
size) and relates the goings-on as they know them to both the captain
and CSO Mercedes McCarter since both were in the captain's quarters when
she got there.
Hopefully, the energy being stollen by the mystery saboteur's jury-rig
of the replicator and energy supply systems will be straightened out
soon, for it is HAMILTON's turn in the Gaia Shipyards. After pulling in
to their assigned bay, the SF crew also gets something back, an OPS
officer. They are barely in the dock when Ensign Christopher Michaels
makes his way on board and after a quick tour with the FO reports in to
the captain.

CO James Burke reluctantly agrees to CMO Electra Threin's request (read:
order) to eat healthy and exercise. She warns him that some of the crew
might be hesitant to accept him, seeing how well-liked Captain Tergin
was. After a message from his wife that she'll be arriving on the
Horizon ahead of schedule, and after making some arrangements for
apprehending Dr. Wednesday, Burke proceeds to the Ship's Edge for a
meal. Apparently, Electra wasn't speaking for all of the crew, because
OPS Blaze Starsinger and his partner No'urdan put the new CO partly at
ease by saying they won't compare his every move to how Tergin would
act.
On his way back to the bridge, Burke and Blaze meet up with Dr.
Threin.She has scanned Dr. Wednesday and found a number of subcellular
differences between him and 'normal' humans. The three officers conclude
he's from an alternate universe, but that brings up more questions than
it answers. For instance, how did he get here? And more important, why?
The Horizon arrives at the Malvedian colony, but unloading the animals
will have to wait until dawn. Burke privately informs FO Leyson Ayden
that he has read the secured part of the latter's bio file. Although
Ayden still seems uncomfortable with the new CO, he assures him he has
no wish to request a transfer.

As the new FO (Lt.Cmdr Joshua Ryan), get comfortable in his new
position, he prepared the senior crew of the new mission orders as the
CO starts the meeting, concering the Federation research vessel SS
LIEBNIZ.
While most of the crew worked hard to prepare the Hermes for the new
mission, Ens Vandenbergh, was having flashbacks about his father during
the times of his encounter with the borg, but during this he was also
getting divorced by his wife, now ex-wife, as he was caught sleeping
with his neighbour.

The NIGHTINGALE arrives at DS 101. Some of the Senior Staff from both
commands gather in the Rising Star Bar and Grill for a meal. Kersh is
the first to be involved in a time loop. Goose is the next to repeat
himself. Captain Alyza observes the effects of the time loop, outside of
its action she is a witness to the events. Doctor Poynton examines
Goose, after his episode, and finds no physical after-effects. Further
investigation shows that two temporal loops are intersecting the
station. In one loop, people are actually affect, in the second they're
only observers. Captain Alyza orders further investigation. Commander
Canon, CO of the NIGHTINGALE, offers the assistance of his staff.

Commander Canon cuts short his Holodeck adventure as NIGHTINGALE arrives
at DS 101. Kennala's surgery is completed, but final results will not be
known for several days. Some of the Senior Staff of both commands gather
at DS 101's Rising Star Bar and Grill for a meal. First Officer Fischer,
DS 101, has his first conversation with Mister Mrell. Captain Alyza, DS
101, is at the bar talking with Brunor Burrfoot; when they
both witness a loop in time. Several others on the station also witness
similar loops, and several are involved in the loop. Alyza orders an
investigation of the phenomena. Canon volunteers NIGHTINGALE's
assistance. FO Stuart arranges for T'Mal and himself to meet with DS 101
specialists.
