SITUATION REPORT
SD 80501
SB Omega
Lt J'Nar has been cleared of all accusations in a court martial. The
shipyard finishes the refit of the USS Jessica Dubroff as fighter support
vessel for Outpost 721. A bomb has been discovered in a cargo bay, left
there by the late Jem Hadar commando.
USS Fenris
The Fenris supports the command staff of Outpost 721 and the construction
crews in the preparation of an asteroid to hold the base. Currently the
vicinity of the asteroid is being cleared from debris and suitable
planetoids are being prepared for refining as construction material.
USS Athene
The Athene is badly damaged and drifting in tightening orbits around
Fiona-161. Several officers on an away mission have shuttled over to
an Omega-Red IV level Penal colony. Armed and possibly in danger they
cautiously explore the area. They come upon a locked room which after a
few minutes they enter to find some primitive equipment and 7 people in
cryogenic chambers.
USS Heracles
The Heracles returned to Starbase Omega from it's last mission. New mission
orders will send her to Bajor to transport a delegation and escort some
transports back to the Cocoon.
USS Regulator
The Regulator pursues a trace that might lead them to the people responsible
for the deaths on the science station and the disappeared secret equipment.
Suspects are the Klingons and the Juun pirates at this point.
USS Curie
The Curie has been 'disrupted' by the Alien vessel after the away team
shot and accediently killed one of the strange alien creatures which call
them selves the Kenavar. With this occurance the whole senior staff
found themselves on the Kenavar ship and on trial for the death of the
alien. All the while the strange purple cloud that at first appeared to
be a nebula has moved in and encompassed the planet the Curie is orbiting.
USS Horizon
The Horizon is heading back to SB Omega after a shake down cruise.
Outpost 721
The planetoid that will house the outpost has been chosen. The first wave
of the engineering construction staff is on its way, headed by Commander
Ashley. In addition, the outpost's CSO and CEO, Ensign Alicia and Ensign
Jean, have joined the CO and XO on the FENRIS.
