USS PHOENIX

The recaptured ship USS Bangalore activated what appeared to be a cloaking
device only to find it was a bomb. Upon examination it was discovered that
it was a bomb made by Star Fleet with a Baladium core. This is a highly
explosive device which could take out an entire solar system. Fortunately
the CNS Tinkerbell, travelled by subspace communication to SFInt main
computer, and got the access codes to de-arm the bomb. Cdr Lancia had to
make a last minute choice over the possible code seeing as TWO bombs were
taken. He chose right and deactivated the bomb.

Meanwhile the SS Conakry is on it's way to Outpost 721 with the other bomb
on board. The rest of the Na'chem pirates and their mysterious female
leader are determined to destroy the Outpost.

Cdr Lancia has beamed back on board the Phoenix to inform the Captain of
what happened on board the Bangalore. The Captain has since sent a message
to Outpost 721 warning of the pirates.

USS XERXES

After fully briefing the Captain and First Officer, Major Biraka began
a tour of the ship. The tour was quickly interrupted by a distress call
from a nearby freighter. The distress call stated that they were under
attack by an unknown enemy. As the Xerxes moved in to investigate, they
found an outdated Juun civilian freighter which had suffered shield
damage at the hands of an alien vessel. Repeated attempts were made to
hail the enemy ship, but there was no response. Captain Careth, sensing
that the freighter was in danger of being destroyed, ordered Ensign
Blazon to maneuver the Xerxes between the freight and its attacker. The
unknown enemy vessel now has the Xerxes in its sights and is moving in
to engage.
