As the ship was getting ready to depart for her supply mission, a
Cardassian ship was detected on an intercept course. Its origin was the
Klingon border.

Outpost 721
COL George L. Bradley has been put under quarantine in his quarters
while a
joint effort of Medical and OPS is trying to find the biological
Cardassian
agents needed to find an antidote.
Meanwhile the XO (aCO) LCDR HoHwI', has met the new OPS officer, LT
Jarvis
Becker and the new CEO, LT(jg) Lykos Tirna. LT Becker has also been
assigned
as CO of the USS WITCH OF ENDOR, one of the SAMURAI-class Corvettes
assigned
to the OP, while LT(jg) Tirna has been appointed as her XO.
LMAJ Darian R McRay has reported in as a Starfury Pilot and has been (or
will
be :) assigned as CO BO.

USS HORIZON
The HORIZON has returned to Starbase OMEGA after completing her
mission. The
evidence that was collected was turned over to the labs on OMEGA and the
crew
is currently having a party. They are celebrating the new promotions of
the
senior staff as well as the completion of their mission and also having
a
goodbye party for their departing officers. Pheagal, Slater and Threin
(CNS,
FO, CO) are leaving the ship for various reasons among other things
reassignment. This resulted in the different crew members saying
goodbye in
different ways, including Dr. Joram singing a Bajoran song known as the
Prophets Tears.
Admiral Siashan came aboard to make some special announcements, which
resulted in the turning over of command of the craft to Commander Asa
Garn, a
former FO of the ship, and relieving Threin of Command. As well as the
awarding of the Wounded Lion to Lt Brakos and the position of FO to
Lt.
Tergin.
A new Chief Science officer came aboard, an Ensign Finn. He is getting
acquainted with the crew at the party.

The party at the Golden Orb is slowly winding down. Senior staff
members are beginning to filter back to the ship, which is all but ready
for departure. The only thing missing are the mission orders.

USS ROANOKE
The Roanoke has delt with a group of Klingon BoPs which apparently
entered The Cocoon undetected. All six were either disabled or
destroyed. The captured crews attempted to escape by forcing themselves
into the brig's forcefields. This overloaded them, but the majority of
the Klingons were killed in the attempt.
The SFSec agent, Ramius, has gone with Cmdr.McMahon in the Runabout
'Dark Mage'. They are examining the wall of The Cocoon. This mission
was designed as a 'wild goose chase' so Cmdr.McMahon could get to know
the SFSec agent - and his ship.
Having picked up the Dark Mage the Roanoke headed for DS 12 where it has
picked up the crew of the USS SAGAN.

DS 101
A new THUNDERBOLT class vessel has been assigned to the station, to
replace
the Banga. The new ship is the USS HIKARU, NCC-87093. The new ship is
already leaving with a mission, to recover the wreckage of the USS Curie
NCC-66004. The remains are required to use as raw replicator material.
The Dergrad Ambassador arrived at the station in a rather unexpected
way,
causing Velzez to miss her appointment with Kronus. He decided to make
an
appointment with the counselor instead. Unfortunately, Tinkerbell
sneaked
aboard the USS Hikaru, not wanting 'to miss the fun'.
At last, Rissa managed to call Zack and let him know that everything is
ok,
putting his mind at rest.
Kennedy salvaged a drifting ship. The ship seems to be built by humans,
but
its origins are yet unknown.

USS CURIE
The Curie found signs of a quite advanced civilization on a planet in a
nearby system. Preparing for first contact, the ship returned to pick up
the
counselor.
On their planet surface, the away team discovered a plant whose juice
drains
the energy out of the body of its victims. Recalled aboard by Zahn,
Kalayah
was sprayed with that juice. Fortunately, the medical staff managed to
save
her life.
Caught unprepared by a violent storm, Galia and Kelen lost their comm
badges
and were washed away by the flood. The attempts to find them made by the
rest of the away team were so far unsuccessful.

USS HERACLES
The Heracles has made it to DS101 safely and the Dergrad Ambassador
was safely beamed over, despite a slight "malfunction" (courtesy of
LtCmdr Springs) which actually beamed the Dergrad delegation into a
rather unsavory location of the station. The Heracles will soon make
its way back to the Dergrad border to retrieve the undercover rescue
team.
No word has been received as to the progress of the team at this time.

Intelligence Report for Cocoon Fleet - Commander Tulok
The DS 101 area(the Amgine Sector) is currently stable. How long this
will last is unknown at this time.
Na-Chem activity has greatly reduced recently and a ceasefire seems
close.
The HORIZON has uncovered mass Genocide commited by the Juun people -
the evidence is being examined further.
Klingon Situation Report for Starfleet - Commander Inhoff:
Communications stations linking The Cocoon with the Federation have been
systematically attacked by Klingon forces - currently 5 of 10 have been
destroyed. Reports and communications to the Federation are suffering
from delays and civilian comm traffic is being limited.
Inhabitants of planets boardering the Klingon Occupied Zone are advised
to evacuate and proceed to DS 12 for relocation. Starfleet will provide
transportation for those who wish to evacuate.
Reports indicate the possibility of a Klingon base somewhere between
Bajor and The Portal.
