fter climbing a long spiral staircase, you enter the tallest room in the castle. The room, like most rooms in the castle, is filled with book cases. However, this room also has pictures of horses scattered on the walls. To your great surprise, a horse with a rider and another girl stand in the middle of the room.
"Welcome to the High Tower! We are Kate and Juliet, guardians of horses and riders. The High Tower is the Pagemaster's room. You may learn about her here. Unfortunately, she is busy at the moment and cannot conduct a tour of her rooms at the moment. We shall give you a tour until she gets here."
The door opens and a girl enters,
"I'm here! Thanks for entertaining our guest. You can go back whatever you were doing before I called you away." The two guardians nod and dissapear. The fact that they simply dissapear doesn't surprise you. You have learned that much about this castle is magic. The girl who entered the room smiles at you. "Welcome. This page is about me in real life. As I'm sure you guessed, my name isn't Princess Maralena. My name is actually Katie. Well, my real name is Katherine and my middle name is Julia, but no one calls me either of those. Usually. The two things that I love to do most are ride horses and read. Some people are addicted to chocolate or pizza or T.V. I'm addicted to books. I'm not kidding. I LOVE to read! I have a webpage, Over the Rainbow(and Into Paradise), but it's really not me. I made it more for other people to enjoy. This webpage is for me. I decided I wanted a webpage that was kind of fantasy and had to do with one of my favorite things, either horses or books. And there are plenty of webpages just about horses, but not nearly enough devoted totally to books. So I decided on a webpage about books. The idea of the Pagemaster came from a book I read called The Pagemaster, which is by David Kirschner and Erin Contreras and illustrated by Jery Tiritilli. My mom gave me the book a few years ago. It's hardcover and short, but it's a great story and the illustrations are awesome! It's the story about a boy who is scared of absolutely everything! One day he is caught in a storm. He goes into a library to get shelter from the storm. But while in the library he enters the world of books where the stories in the books come true. He has to learn to face his fear and get home. Favorite book:Even harder to than my favorite author. I love the Dragonriders of Pern series and the Dragonlance series, along with any books by those authors listed above.
