The newsgroups are buzzing with the latest twist offered to us by Mr. Carter

And his band of merry men (and women) in Requiem.  This of course leaves

fan fic writers like myself no choice but to reason the events in their own unique

ways, and leaves readers no choice but to spend hours enjoying the spoils of that

labor.

This page is my contribution to those hours of reading.  These are some of my

Personal favorites of post – Requiem stories…I hope you enjoy them.

© Trance to Venial Sin – By Lydia Harkness (sequel to A Sort of Homecoming)

Summary:  I’m no sadomasochist, but this is the pain I’m starting not only to enjoy but also revel in.  This

Deadly hide-and-seek game I’m playing with his face…. Identifying bodies that aren’t his became a past

time for me over the months I’ve been missing him.  Maybe twenty-two or three since it really became

a habit.  I want tonight to be the night I get it right.  The night I say ‘yeah’ it’s him.  This time the

‘John Doe’ will be mine.

©© PentimentoBy Cathleen Faye

Summary:   Pentimento is an art term meaning to obscure what was once there, such as painting a new picture

over an older one on a canvas.  But as it ages, the paint on canvas can become transparent and slowly, what was

there before can be seen again and the whole truth of the picture, though once lost and obscured, can be found

and seen again.  This story is much the same.  NOTE FROM THE WEBMISTRESS:  No I did not add an

extra heart by mistake…this story is an absolute must read!!!!  It left me speakless!
