The Adversary is a mystic being, with an unbelievable amount of power, in eternal conflict with Roma, representing the fight between the forces of good and evil. If the equality between them gets broken, the world is bound to be destroyed, and that is what happened when a very young and scared Forge used his magical powers to open a gate to bring demons to earth and protect him in Vietnam. Not only the demons, but also the Adversary used the gate to slip to earth, and later, during an attack to the Eagle's Nest (Forge's home) by the space Ghosts, he possessed the body of Naze, an old Cheyenne shaman, and began to develop his plot.
