Goblin Queen

Goblin Queen...Mutant X style.Name:Madelyne Pryor Summers
Alias:Marvel Woman
Origin:Alaska(maybe)
Group:The Six
Former X-Factor
Relatives:Alex Summers(Havok, Husband), Scott Charles Summers(Son)

Not much is known about Madelyne. She first surfaced several years ago, 14 months before the Inferno event. Her remarkable resemblence to the deceased X-Man, Jean Gray(Ariel), has lead to some speculation that she could be Gray's twin sister, or some other blood relation. However, investigations into the Gray family have produced no evidence to confirm this. There has been some conjecture that Madelyne is a clone of Jean Gray, but this, too, is nothing more than a theory.

Alex Summers first met Madelyne Pryor on a trip to Alaska, when he was inspecting the house he had recently inherited from his late grandmother. Struck by her resemblance to his late girlfriend(sound familiar?), the two struck a friendship, which grew into a romance when she returned with him to X-Factor, although she had no powers. She and Havok were soon married, and she gave birth to their only child, Scott Charles Summers.

In the Inferno Event Scott was abducted by the demons S'ym and N'Astirah. X-Factor, now called The Six, fought alongside Magneto's X-Men to defeat the demons, but it appears that Madelyne was key to the mutants' success. There is evidence to indicate that she struck a deal with the demons that not only saved her son and the planet but brought forth her previously unseen mutant power of telekinesis, linking her even closer to Jean Gray.

She is now known as Marvel Woman, and leads The Six along with her husband Havok. Marvel Woman has the power to telekinetically lift, move and reshape objects through sheer force of will. The limits of her powers have yet to be tested, and it remains to be seen what, if any, further changes have occured in her abilities or personality in the wake of the Inferno Event.
