Paige is Cannonball's younger sister, first meeting with the X-Men during a combat with the Game Master, when she solved the situation through holding a dialogue with him. Due to her natural commanding abilities, when Generation X was formed, she became a sort of leader, though she never asks of her followers anything that she would not do herself. Therefore she is always pushing herself to the limit. She still lacks absolute control of her powers (which center around her ability to manipulate her skin), but she improves them every issue.
