Lilandra became empress of the Shiar and Kree galaxies after the abdication of Deathbird in Uncanny X-Men #275 and the detonation of the Nega Bomb and subsequent destruction of the Kree galaxy in Avengers #347, respectively. Lilandra is romantically linked to Professor Xavier.
