Angelo was kidnapped by the Phalanx, who could't absorb him for being a mutant. Her power is the ability to control his own skin (but only if he concentrates, a thing that gives him quite a headache) Since he has a lot of spare skin, his appearance is not quite normal, but he can control it (again under concentration). When relaxed, his skin is gray.

Rescued by the X Men, he teamed with the rest of the people in the prison, forming X Generation. Lately, some mysterious past has been pointed to for him, perhaps having something to do with illegal activities.
