The Price of Truth

     The price of truth is high indeed, this girl never knew how much the truth would cost her. But it has cost her, friends, reputation, and ease in thought and functional ability. She will stand behind the truth, as she was raised and trained to do so, she will always speak the truth and try not to flower it, or color it for that is also not proper and right. But she also has come to realize that the truth is not welcomed. A girl does not know why, as a slave who was trained in the Silk&Steel, it was formost taught her.

     Many things are said about this girl, some true, some untrue, some pleasant, some not so pleasant, but she never runs, she faces it, changes if she can. But, she has never turned from a friend when the truth has been spoken, nor has she walked from someone or condemned someone because the truth was spoken.

     The truth may hurt but it is not said to harm or damage. The truth is costly, she has paid an enormous price, but she will always speak the truth.
