Feet of Clay

The 19th Discworld book, Feet of Clay is set in Ankh-Morpork. There have been two murders, and even the highly refined nose of Corporal Angua can't quite work out whodunnit. But as the Clues unfold, the question becomes not only who, but (more importantly) - how?

Feet of Clay combines the intrigue of a good detective story with the intelligent characterisations and humour that has come to be a Discworld benchmark. This is the third book centred about the Watch (the others are Guards! Guards! and Men At Arms) and it picks up where the characters in Men At Arms left off. The next book concerning the Watch is Jingo, and these books all do justice to the ingenious creation of an Ankh-Morpork police force (although the idea is similar to that of installing smoke detectors in Hell...)
