Drn Pine's ancestors left Bajor with 100,000 others before the Cardassian occupation. She entered Starfleet Academy in 2356. Was decorated for bravery in 2358 when a starship she was training on got caught in the atmosphere of Venus and was able to get everyone out before the ship went down. Graduate in 2362, validictorian. Posted on Starbase 2 from 2362 till 2369. Went back to Starfleet Academy to brush up on Security training.
Psychologists Notes:
Pine is nothing like other Bajorans. She doesn't have the experience of the occupation like the others, and that can make her the envy of other Bajorans. She likes to take charge of a situation, and risks her life to do so.
