Er Bud-Wies grew up in the camps and hates Cardassians with a passion. Fled the planet in 2336 and ended up on Earth. Held a civilian position at Starfleet Academy for two years and decided to join in 2359. Posted at *Deep Space Nine* in 2369 and met all arriving alien dignitaries. Transferred to the *Hellraiser* in 2371.

Bud-Wies had remarkable strength physically and emotionally. He was able to keep his hope during the occupation and that is how he stayed alive to escape. A crafty young fellow with a devious mind.
