CAST NOMINEES ?
Here's
my cast wish list for Scream 3. Remember: This
is NOT the actual cast!
Danielle Harris
This
21-year-old actress made her mark in the horror genre as a young
"Scream-Queen" at the age of 10 when she was casted as
Michael Myers' young niece, Jamie Lloyd, in Halloween
4 and Halloween 5.
Since then, Harris has continued acting in such movies and TV
shows as "Roseanne" and recently made a jump back to
the big screen and the slasher genre as the goth/computer
obsessed Tosh in Urban Legend.
Katie Holmes
Katie
Holmes is probably already casted for Scream
3 since she stars on Kevin Williamson's teen
drama, Dawson's Creek as
Joey Potter. This 20-year-old dark haired actress is on her way
to being another Scream-Queen from her role in Disturbing
Behavior to the upcoming Kevin Williamson
dark-comedy, Killing Mrs. Tingle.
Katie has expressed interest in Scream 3
herself, as well.
Josh Hartnett
This
20-year-old fast, rising star recently made his debut as Jamie
Lee Curtis' son in Halloween: H20.
He also stars as Zeke, one of the students fighting
alien-teachers in Kevin Williamson's The
Faculty and will also be seen as Diane
Keaton's son in Town & Country.
Josh certainly has the looks, talent, and charisma for a role in Scream
3.
Devon Sawa
This
blond haired 20-year-old actor from films such as Casper,
Now and Then, and Wild
America. He gets his thriller experience in
the upcoming Idle Hands
as a high schooler with hands posessed by the devil. Another
actor who would make for a good choice for a role in Scream
3.
Elijah Wood
This 18-year-old fresh faced former-child star of such
movies as Radio Flyer, Forever
Young, and more recently, Deep
Impact, can also be seen as a nerdy high
school intelligent in Kevin Williamson's thriller The
Faculty. Elijah has the innocent look and
the talent to fool you as an innocent suspect for Scream
3.
Possible Cameos
Jamie
Lee Curtis
This
40-year-old original Scream-Queen who recently reprised her Halloween
role in Halloween: H20
would be a perfect idea for a cameo in Scream
3. Possibly as a cameo as herself playing
the role of Debbie Salt (aka Mrs. Loomis) in STAB 2.
Heather Langenkamp
This
80's Scream-Queen, who made an impression in 1984 as Nancy in Wes
Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street,
and again in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3
could possibly have a cameo in Scream 3
as herself, playing the role of Gale Weathers in STAB 2, since
they never mentioned who played Gale in STAB. Also, this wouldn't
be the first time that Heather hasn't played herself in a Wes
Craven production. She played herself in 1995's Wes
Craven's New Nightmare.
Wes Craven
The
director of Scream and Scream
2 has made brief cameos in the first two
movies. In Scream, Wes
made a cameo as Freddy the Janitor. In Scream
2, he made a tiny cameo as a doctor at the
hospital. How about Wes playing himself, the director of STAB 2
in Scream 3?
Possible Opening Scene Victims
Shannen
Doherty
This
former "Beverly Hills 90210" star and star of the new
WB witchy drama, "Charmed" would be a good choice for
the possible opening scene victim in Scream 3.
Possibly as a bitchy actress killed on the set of STAB 2. It
would also be a good way for Doherty to poke fun at her bitchy
reputation. Hey, it worked for Tori Spelling!
Molly Ringwald
This
former 80's teen film queen of such films like Pretty
in Pink is always recognizable with her
trademark red hair and pink wardrobe. Since the 90's began, Molly
has worked in more of the way on TV and stage, but will return to
the big screen with a cameo in Killing Mrs.
Tingle. Molly also happens to be one of
Kevin Williamson's favorite actresses.
