I've just spent about
fifty minutes reading the experiences on this page. I have had four different
ouija boards in the past fifteen years.
Two of them seemed to draw, if you will, nasty, foul, evil and dangerous spirits. The other two boards hosted very kind, intelligent and caring spirits. One of the spirits, whom I can never, ever forget referred to himself as only "HEET". He informed me that when anyone uses the Ouija board, they are opening themselves to a world beyond our human understanding; to another dimension. Yes, there are good and evil spirits. He cautioned that one needs to take very good care to be cautious when using the board. He also informed me that we all have a certain amount of "power" within us. Sadly though, many of us either don't believe it or are frighten of it. HEET did confirm my suspicions and thoughts about my own family. The female on my mother's side, for years, even centuries gone by, have had what I called "a fascinating and far beyond sixth sense" (including telepathy, clairvoyance, etc., and even more.) When I asked him to reveal to me exactly what "abilities" I do indeed possess, he replied that I was not ready to deal with all of them, as many would frighten me. Needless to say, I got very upset with him, and insisted it would not frighten me. He told me to be patient and in time, I would know. Since that time I have not had a board. HEET recommended that I get rid of it for a while. However, my interest in it is becoming very strong again. I'm also very interested in "guides". I often wonder if HEET is my guide, although I feel that I have one, who I call Gabrielle. I'm about 98.999% sure of it. I noticed that a person by the name of R_____ V______, in the guest book, indicated that he did have a guide. With all sincerity, could you or anyone who knows or has a "spirit guide" give me information on how to really contact or find out for sure, if I do indeed really have one? Thanks. Well, got to go for now.
The next time, I'll tell you about the experience my son and I had with
a mysterious jumping apple!
skeptika's note: Bobbi has, at the time
of writing, not responded to an email sent two months earlier. This story
is modified from the guest
book which details her email address. I am uncomfortable, however,
with putting someone else's email address here without express permission.
If you'd like to respond, email me,
and I will both put your comments below and send them on to Bobbi.
follow on comments: Bobbi had a question about spirit guides, and though I am not an expert in this kind of thing and I am fairly new to otherworldly phenomenon, one thing I am sure of is my spirit guide. Obviously, Guides are very personal things, and the path to discovering them is different for everyone, so I will just explain how I found mine. Hopefully this will help. I have
always identified strongly with animals, birds in particular. I empathize
with them more than with people. As a Canadian (now sadly displaced in
Texas) from British Columbia, I have been exposed to a lot of Northwest
Native thought and tradition and a beautiful landscape where I feel truly
"at home". My interests and hobbies have always revolved around
I wanted to find out what or who my "magic word" (spiritual power, Guide, etc.) was, so I did some research. I found a simple exercise to help me along the path. Here it is: You need a pretty good dictionary, a white candle, and a compass. That's it! Step 1: Using the compass, find south. Sit facing that direction. Step 2: Light the white candle and get comfortable - try to relax and open your mind. The less you think about it, the more this works. Step 3: Put the dictionary on the floor ( or table, or your lap...) in front of you. Close your eyes. Step 4: Turn the book over and around until you can't tell which way is up. KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSED! Flip through the pages slowly, trying to keep your mind clear. When you feel that you need to stop, stop. Step 5: Open the book (eyes still closed) and move your finger across the pages that you chose. Again, stop when you feel it is right. Step 6: Now open your eyes. The word closest to your finger or the word that jumps out at you first is your "magic word." This
magic word can be a useful key. It may describe the personality, age, appearance,
etc. of your guide, or it may trigger memories or associations that are
important. Guess what mine was. My finger landed directly on top of a picture
of a RAVEN! Spooky, huh? At first I thought it was coincidence, but I have
tried to find my Guide in many other ways (including a Ouija board) and
it is always the same. This method may not work for everyone - follow your
intuition. It may be your Guide trying to
