The Dorm

I recently visited your site about ouija board and all that scary stuff. I tried to send you my story through the web site but it wouldnt work for some odd reason. Here is my story:

I've lived in a small town all my life until I decided to attend college in a decently huge city. I moved into a dorm with three other girls. These dorms are not at all like "standard" college dorms. they are apartments that used to be welfare apartments years ago until the school bought them and converted them into dorms for the students attending their college. They are fairly big, with two bedrooms, a bathroom, dinning room, living room, kitchen, and a balcony viewing the courtyard. Not long after I moved in here the girl who I shared a room with and I both began hearing noises at night. We just dismissed these noised as wierd and scary but eventually they would go away. The noises persisted until we all moved out. I moved back into the same dorm only three months later with two other girls who had moved in while I was gone. (One of them lived with me for awhile and we have been friends for about eight months.) The noises got lounder and more noticable as time went on. For example the cupboards in the kitchen at night would open and close, there would be pounding noises, and we would hear (and once actually see) doors open and close with nobody around. Fall came around and the freshmen students gotr moved in. We got one roommate who we all bonded with fairly quick.

One night after she had been there for awhile, about a week ago, we decided to play the ouija board and contact this spirit that was living in our dorm.

We shut off the lights and lit candles all in the name of fun. We figured this was a board bought at Toys R Us and made by Parker Brothers it would be nothing more than a giggle. We began playing in the living room. The pointer was moving slowl and only on the answers of our one roommate who we will call Kelly. We were all sitting there and we frequently took breaks from playing the game to discuss our next move and smoke cigs. We decided that since most of the noises were heard from the room Kelly and I shared we would go in there and play. So we moved our entire setup of candles and such into our room. Once we got in there and started playing there was a noticable difference in the way the pointer was moving. It was now moving more freely and smoothly. We knew that it was moving by itself because we had a pack that no one would move it and we all trusted each other enough to know. A giveaway that nobody was moving it was that all of us were beginning to flip out at the same rate. Nobody was calm. Once the game got underway we played for about three hours. We asked a lot of questions and found out information. At one point in time the ouija board itself lifted up and floated in the air for a few noticable seconds. And another odd thing that happened was the spirit was telling us a year and the eylet pointer fell off the board a little bit, a corner or the triangle shaped pointer, as we were discussing whether or not to pick it up and put it back on it picked itself up and continued the game.

The spirit told us her initials, when she moved to this city, that something bad happened to her and her husband in the room that we were playing in, that her oldest of three children now lives in a nearby city and his age. She told us that she was female, she told us that she wanted us to help her through her son but she didn't tell us how, she told us the age and year she died at, plus more.

The four of us were all getting a little whacked out. We knew we didn't want to stay in our dorm that night. It would be too scary so we got on board ans asked the spirit if she would be offended if we left for the night, she said YES. So we asked again if we could leave the dorm that night, she said NO. At this point all of us are freaking out and frantically trying to find some place to stay for the night. At one point in time when Kelly was trying ito call comeone the phone went dead for a few seconds and then began to work again. Once we all had a place to stay we kept on playing because we were under the impression that when playing with one of these boards it is not good to leave until the spirit goes to good-bye.

We ran out of things to ask. We told her we would go to the library and try to find out more information but we had no more questions. She still didn't go to bood-bye. We decided that since she told us that she knew a friend or family member had did this bad thing to her we decided to ask if she knew the name of the person who did this to her and she spelled out GOD very quickly.

At this point all four of us totally wigged out. We ran out of the dorm and got into a car to leave. Later that night we sent a friend of ours back to our dorm to pick up some blankets for us to us. He said that when he and his friend went into the dorm they knew which
room we had played the board in because it was damp and cold. This was odd because when we were in this room playing not even five hours ago it was unbelievable hot. We had had on skimply little shirts and comfy clothing. He said it was so cold that he walked over to shut the window but it was already closed. He also said that as they were standing by our fridge getting food they heard a noise in the house that was not a "normal" sound made by an old building.

I dont know if this is really a spirit trapped in that dorm or it it was another one playing with us. Not one of us was moving the pointer. How it moved is the most . All I know is that the board worked. asked questionflipped us out so bad that we moved into a totally different , among others, between the four uf us. This incident apartmentstill have questions. . I've read all I can on the internet including your page and I still have questions.

Thank you.
